Season 1
1. Premiere- Dr. Mike comes to town and is slowly excepted by the people of Colorado Springs.
2. Epidemic- Dr. Mike works feverishly against an influenza epidemic which isolates the town and scares the townspeople. When Michaela contracts the disease, Sully enlists the help of the Cheyenne to save her life.
3. The Visitor- Having been worried over Michaela's recent bout with influenza, her mother comes to visit. Robert E. is injured in a fire and must be taken care of at the homestead due to the bank foreclosure on the clinic.
4. Law of the Land- Kid Cole, a retired gunslinger, comes to town and becomes the new sheriff. Michaela must decide what to do when she learns that Matthew stole a cow from Olive.
5. The Healing- When Loren suffers a hernia, he decides to cause Sully pain so he takes away the homestead. Sully, though, still saves his life with a blood transfusion.
6. Father's Day- Michaela wishes to give the unwilling town smallpox vaccinations. Meanwhile, her adopted children's father returns and threatens to take the children with him.
7. Bad Water- Sully and Michaela struggle to get a water sample from a nearby stream which they think is contaminated.
8. Great American Medicine Show- Michaela doesn't trust the sales pitch of a traveling medicine man especially when it involves Myra.
9. A Cowboy's Lullaby- A cowboy gives up his infant son to Michaela when he can no longer care for him.
10. Running Ghost- A businessman tries to get the townspeople to sell their property so that the railroad may pass through. Sully pays a big price for rallying against bison hunters.
11. The Prisoner- Sully and Michaela must hide Cloud Dancing from General Custer who wishes to imprison him.
12. Happy Birthday- Michaela's loneliness surfaces when her birthday approaches and Jake goes on a drinking binge.
13. Right of Passage- Matthew is determined to show Michaela that he is an adult after she forbids his marriage to Ingrid.
14. Heroes- When Colleen is saved from a runaway wagon by Sully, her attempt to have him save her again leads to a dangerous situation.
15. The Operation- When Brian suffers a serious head injury, Michaela must operate to save his life. Meanwhile, the town begins building the school.
16. The Secret- Michaela wishes to uncover the truth about a mentally ill boy who turns out to be Hank's son.
17. Portraits- A photographer comes to town and Dr. Mike learns that he is going blind from diabetes.
