Comments:
The plot of this trilogy is a mixture of creative and worn-out. The development of the Solo children is interesting, and their part of the plot is creative. I liked most of the new characters in these books a whole lot. Some situations in the books are quite clever. But once again, there is the worn out element of yet another superweapon and mass destruction, though the book doesn't dwell on it, for which I am thankful. The revelation that the Corellian system is "built" is pretty unrealistic. The death of a main character at the end once again disappoints my old-fashioned side, even though it is an expanded universe character. By the way, I listened to Assault at Selonia on audiotape, which is a neat way to get "into" the story.
