Comments:
This is my favorite novel series by far. The plot is engrossing, the characters are very keeping with George Lucas's originals, and the storyline was quite creative, unlike some of the other books, whose plots seem to follow a similar line. The main villain is very well thought out and a worthy adversary of our Rebel friends. It also contains many little details and subplots that make it as believable as the original Trilogy and evocative of the some of the same feelings a person gets watching the movies. One minor gripe is that I didn't think Zahn should have gotten rid of Obi-Wan. But all in all, this is a very good read for Star Wars fans.
This series has the distinction of being the only Star Wars novels I have read more than once. They are just as good the second time around, whereas with many of the other novels, I wouldn't waste my time to pick them up again.
