One Long Track

All the runners are on their marks.
The shot from the gun is fired.
We are all running as fast as we can,
Towards the finishing line, the goal.
It's one long track,
Lasting about twenty to thirty years.

There are always runners lagging behind.
But catching up is never impossible.
I just have to believe in myself.

The runners in front must not be complacent.
He must still always do his best.
No matter how big the gap.

No one can see the finishing tape.
No one knows how long it will take.
And no one knows who will get there first.
But everyone who gets there is a winner.

And he who doesn't,
There is always another race tomorrow.
One day they will all say,
"I made it, I survived the run!"
