"Will you marry me", he asked,
To which she said, "if you like"
This response was unexpected,
And left him slightly stumped.
"When do you want it", he managed to reply,
To which she answered, "whenever you want"
This response was rather pleasing,
But he wasn't sure what he wanted.
"Weddings take organizing can we meet to discuss it", he inquired the next day,
To which she merely rolled her eyes,
This response was unwanted,
Could it mean he hasn't got a chance?
All this got him thinking,
Believing he's had a change of luck,
Considering actually asking her out,
Deciding what he really wants.
