These are some examples of the
Novelty work that I have done
These are some of the woodart pictures that I have made on my scrollsaw. This is my hobby which I don't seem to have time to do any more.
This is an infant measuring
board. I made a number of these for local infant care providers.
The state requires that for someone to be certified to provide
some types of infant care, a measuring board meeting certain
requirements is required. These were made in Oak with a melamine
surface with a ruler along one side.
These are some of the clocks
that I have made. The fiddle is the same size as a full size
fiddle. It has fishing line strings. I made this for myself
because I love and play the fiddle myself. The thistle is only
about a foot tall and is the "Flower of Scotland" where
my wife is from.
I made
this rocking horse for a client and then made several others, one
of which was for my other granddaughter. This is a Woodsmith plan
and has a very friendly face.
This was a new handle and sheath
for this old knife. It had special meaning to the client
and he wanted it to have a facelift. The handle and sheath were
both made from black walnut. The sheath was made in two parts and
then epoxied together after the inside was hollowed to accomodate
the blade.
This perennial calendar is in
the shape of a Scottish Terrier. It can be adjusted to provide
the correct date for eternity.
