Welcome to Windy Acre Farm's (aka WAF) official website. WAF is a 17-acre hobby farm located in the beautiful Oakridges Moraine in Ontario, Canada. It is owned and run by the Gallant Family. The Gallant family bought WAF in 2002, with a single storey bungalow, falling down barn and empty field. My dad converted the bungalow into a 2 storey brick, board & batton house. We moved in May 2003. |

A year later, we installed two pastures (4 acres each) with shelters and planted five acres of hay. We brought my horse, Chilli, and a boarder, Bert (pictured below) home May 2004. Fred, our second horse, arrived in August. Our horse barn was built October 2004, and 2/3 of the old barn was torn down and the rest was converted into a hay barn. |
