Mitchell's Fold, Chirbury (Bronze Age) ref SO 304983
Yet another Stone circle enclosed by glorious scenery.  Not so good when it's raining because you have to park your car a short distance away.  Due to it's location high adn unsheltered you tend to get very wet & windswept.  My advice, visit on a sunny day and relax amongst these stones.  A hard circle to get a decent photograph of it is 23m in diameter and 16 stones are still visible.  The highest stone (see below) stands 1.85m.
Hoarstone Circle, Chirbury (Bronze Age) ref SO 324999
A small stone circle not far feom Mitchell's Fold.  It is 20m in diameter it consists of 37 stones but many are hidden in the undergrowth.  A single stone stands in the centre.  The tallest stone here is only 0.75m high.
