-The following is an interpretation of Hurt by Nine Inch Nails found at
an OLGA Mirror Site. The layout is a little bit confusing in the
original file but it appears to be a compilation of the work of various
tabbers among them Phil Coval and Mike Dare.-

# Of course, this file is these authors' own work and represents their
Interpretation of the song. You may only use this file for private study,
scholarship, or research.#

...all My empire of dirt...

I've run through this version a couple of times and it seems to be
quite close to the album version. The question marks in Riff-3 are from
the original OLGA version and I haven't taken the time to confirm the
accuracy of that section. For structure and complete lyrics please
consult the album.
While opening for David Bowie on the Outside.1 Tour in the USA, NIN
did a fantastic duet version with Bowie and his guitarist, Reeves
Gabrels. Gabrels incorporated a lilting, hypnotic guitar synthesizer
riff as an intro that continued through the verse. If you can obtain a
decent copy of one of the performances it is quite interesting and if
you, or anyone you know should happen to know how to play the synth riff
the TAB for that would make a nice addition to this TAB...

Thanks again to the original posters of the OLGA version: Phil Coval
and Mike Dare.
