Part 1: Kenya and Tanzania

Mike got in touch via e-mail during the middle of August (I forget the exact date, though it may be a little consolation for some of you to know it's winter in Kenya and Tanzania at that time of year - not that it makes that much difference) to give us this report on his stint in Africa so far.

This is in reponse to your request for travelling information, (actually I just wanted to gloat!)
I am now in Dar-es-Salam, Tanzania, having already climbed Mt Kenya and Kilimanjaro and have been to the impressive Ngorongoro crater on safari (Lions, elephants, hippos, rhinos, zebra, buffalo, vultures, giraffe, etc, etc) I am now off to Zanzibar (spice and salve island) to go diving with the dolphins. I hope the little old England is just as interesting!
I'll let you know how I get on, and with my future progress.
