This is a great album, both for AOD fans and those who have never even heard of them. It's a comp. of some of their greatest songs, live and studio. 44 songs of sloppy punk rock. These guys were wacky punk when the only other punk in the U.S. was The Misfits and Dead Kennedys, which paved the way for the many, many, many wacky punk bands that followed. The definitive AOD album for any fans of 80's punk. |

| It's a given that any Avail album is going to be absolutly great and worth your money, but of the three, this is definitly the worst. That is not to say that it is bad, because it is actually great, but that should say something about how good this band really is. If you aren't already hooked on Avail, though, I reccommend starting with one of the other two albums (see below). |

| This is the absolute best album from one of the absolute best bands in the world. Pure energy that makes you pogo your ass all over your room every time you put it in. If you don't have this record, go out and find it RIGHT NOW. I can't say enough good things about it. |

| Another great from the band that reinvented the live show. Maybe not quite as good as Dixie, but still one of the best records I've ever had the honor of listening too. The energy comes through louder then the music, and you can't help but go crazy when you listen to it. |

| A good introduction to the wide world of Black Flag. A collection of a bunch of old EP's like Wasted, Nervous Breakdown, etc. The best part is that Henry Rollins is nowhere to be found. That's right, not a single song is sung or has anything to do with Rollins. The way it should have stayed... |

A must for any fans of punk rock who don't already have this album. I think they should make it a requirement to get into any punk show. From great 70's British punk to borderline ska, The Clash can do just about anything and do it better then most |

I had very high hopes for this record, and it didn't quite live up to it. It's straddling the line between sloppy punk and noise-core. Some of the songs are damn good, but most are just bad. Some people love this kind of stuff, but it really doesn't do it for me. It is a benefit album for Food Not Bombs, though, which is a great cause, so maybe the $8 is worth it. | By the way, it's only available on vinyl.

After the pretty dissappointing LP (see above), I decided to give Crimpshrine another try, and I'm glad I did. The 4 songs on this EP are soo good that it should cost $8 and the full-length should be $2. Very good sloppy pop-punk. Catchy anthems about "peace, love, and happiness (not that hippie shit)." |

DK's hold their place in my list of favorite bands. While Plastic Surgery Disasters is great, it doesn't quite have the energy of the other records (see below), but still has a bunch of great songs. In God We Trust Inc., though, my be the best DK release ever. Their one truely hardcore release, it moves faster then I can dance along. It shows how good Dead Kennedy's really were. |

The album that started the censorship craze in this country. As new wave as DK's get, it still has all the energy of In God We Trust, Inc. (see above). The lyrics are some of the best Jello Biafra ever wrote and the songs are catchy. If it wasn't for the few very loooong songs and one horrible techno song by East Bay Ray, this album would be perfect. |

Probably the best all-around release by Dead Kennedy's. This record has rare demo cuts, singles, and live recordings. It hass all the classics and some great new songs, and the cover is the best album cover I've ever seen. Highly reccommended. |

| I love some of the songs on this album, but others are pretty bad. The record spans their early years ('78-'85?). It has a lot of their best stuff, but a lot of their worst, too. Only for big fans of D.O.A. |
