What is Weird Horizons ?
Weird Horizons is my design company . We do Homepages for the dollarly disadvantaged a.k.a students . The PU for CHE is one of the first universities in.South Africa that made e-mail accessable to all of it's registered students . Internet access is also available at a minimal fee , which includes 1Mb storage space that can be upgraded . So we recconed that the 6 000 students on the PUK would possibly like to have personal Homepages , and who better to fulfill that need than us ? So we started doing Homepages at a minimal fee - hey we gotta live . O.K admittedly it's not the greatest Homepages you've ever seen , but no one's complained about their Page yet so we must be doing something right . We basically just do it for the fun and some good experience , trying out some new stuff etc. etc. Many thanx to GeoCities for the space and the exposure , a lot better than the university's servers .
