If the name is not spectacular, appearances can be misleading! This trail is the link to ski the Grands Montets from top to bottom. 8000m of grand skiing for 2000m metres vertical, enought to give cramps to even the strongest legs. Start at the top of the Herse chair-lift to warm up for intermediate skiers where you can also give the moguls a bash.
Take the cable-car up to the top of the Grands Montets (30F a go!). At the top, start to go down the piste of Le Point de Vue, but take a sharp right and head down off-piste towards the Glacier d'Argentiere (picture above). Watch out for the crevasses, while you look at the scenery! Once you get down on the Glacier, follow it down the slope on its left side. You should then reach the top of the first cable-car. From there either stop or go on down the "Pierre a Ric" piste down to the car park!
