Scenic pics, winter '98

Winter '98 (scenic pictures).

This winter we (i.e: Gilles, professional-ish photographer of the year, Warwick, professional photographer extraordinaire n#2, and myself) decided to have as much scenery as possible in our pictures. We figured out by now, that, for some strange reason, you don't want to just see pictures of us doing jumps, you also want to see some mountains...I can't see why, but hey! So here are a bunch of (yawn...) scenic pictures, and go here for the skiing pictures, which, incidentally, contain loads of scenery too, so don't forget to give them a look! Enjoy.

A view from Planpraz (at le Brevent), looking down on the valley

Nice little sunset with the drus, seen from the Flegere car park.

Perfect paragliding conditions from Le Brevent.

The beautiful powder bowl of the Combe Lachenal, off la Flegere
Check out my tracks on the right hand side!

The Index Piste after a heavy snow fall

Nice little effect with trees (look at all that snow...)
Seen from the Evettes lift (Flegere)

The Cornu lift (Brevent), with my sister and her boyfriend

Aaaaaah, aren't they cute (the skis, I mean...)
