Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell To Undergo Surgery
Twenty-two-year-old Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell has decided to quit playing games with his heart by undergoing elective surgery at the end of April to repair a congenital heart defect.

During Littrell's recovery, which is expected to take about eight weeks, the group will be working on a new album, due in October. The first leg of the Backstreet Boys' American tour ended Sunday in Dallas, but the group is making appearances on Rosie O'Donnell's morning show and the TV series, "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" before heading to Dublin for a March 17 concert.

The group's European tour will run through the end of April and will return to the States July 8 to begin another round of dates.
