Backstreet Boys: They'll Go "Anywhere For You"
The biggest news about the Backstreet Boys has got to the fact that their blockbuster summer tour is underway as we speak. They're simply a band that loves to perform - there's no two ways about that! Hot on the heels of their European expedition, the Boys barely had time to rest after visiting their fans overseas, before embarking on their US tour. Now, the BsBs are delighting American audiences in huge venues! Why do they do it? Because they love their fans, and in order to bring their brand of out-of-this-world sound, they'll go "anywhere for you" to deliver the best show possible!
What sort of venues do the Boys like best? "When you perform in front of small audiences, it makes you much more nervous because you're much closer to the audience," confides Nick, "but when you perform in front of a big audience, your adrenaline is going out the roof!" Both sound like pretty amazing experiences! With all the hoopla, it may seem like it's hard for the guys to focus on the job that they have to get done, but the Boys, being the down to earth folks that they are, have got that covered too. "We have a group prayer before we go on stage," says Brian. "We all join hands and it's more or less a focusing point with us. We pray for safety. We pray for the audience so no one gets hurt because sometimes it's a possibility when you're dealing with a lot of people. We wish we could let them know, calm down, we're not going anywhere." Leave it to the Boys, to concentrate all their attention on their fans!
