Our Hearts Go Out To Brian
Back in 1975 Brian Thomas Littrell was bron with a small hole in his heart, and although it did not present major health problems for hime as an adult or hinder his successful career, he did elect to undergo heart surgery this spring. It was this same birth malady though, which almost cost him his life at the tender age of five.

According to sources close to the family, this surgery was nothing out of the ordinary and a procedure that many people face everyday. Since he was well-prepared for the operation, doctors predict he will be up and around in no time! And, of course, back on tour. After a brief recuperation period Brian will rejoin the Backstreet Boys as they continue recording their next LP and begin their comprehensive 1998 summer tour of the United States and Canada.

At press time Brian was resting comfortably at home. Doctors reported that his heart was actually in much better overall condition than was originally thought. Brian and his family would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support and have asked that friends and fans alike make donations to a fund that has been created his name in lieu of sending flowers or gifts to his parents home in Orlando.
