In the past 2 years, Bush has achieved more success than perhaps any
other alternative rock group in the U.S.. This English quartet signed
with Trauma Records and came up with Sixteen Stone, their debut
album which has sold over 7 million copies to date. From this album, 5
hit singles("Everything Zen," "Little Things," "Comedown," "Glycerine"
and "Machinehead") dominated the airwaves and music charts for quite
some time. Sixteen Stone stayed in the top 10 of Billboard's Top
200 Albums chart for most of the 1995 winter and into the following
spring. At this point, Gavin Rossdale (guitar/vocals), Nigel
Pulsford(guitar), Dave Parsons(bass), and Robin Goodridge(drums) had to
have an idea that they were going to make it big. Their second release
Razorblade Suitcase has already launched it's first single,
"Swallowed" at #6 on the airplay chart for Billboard's Modern Rock
Moniter, which is the highest debut of any track ever. Tonight's
performance at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas will be the second
for Bush as they were one of the exceptional acts last year. When they
hit the stagge, don't be stuck in line at the snack bar.
