November 28, 1997 -- The new site is ready. Please go to the new site at http://www.weatherimages.org"> This will be the primary site now and the old address will eventually phaze out.
November 22, 1997 -- I finally have a new domain name of my own!! The new address for this weather site is http://www.weatherimages.org There's nothing there as of yet, but I hope to have the whole site moved to the new address by Christmas. Please join the mailing list for updates and keep watching this page!
November 19, 1997 -- I finally get my own domain name on the internet!! Cool huh!?! I'm still working on trying to edit every single page to reflect a new address change. I've saved all the files to my local hard drive and am working off-line to get things worked out. I'll post here again soon to let you all know of the new address and such. I hope to have the new site ready to go by Christmas, but we'll see. Wish me luck!! And thanks for all the support you all have given me over the past year and a half. Many great changes are coming soon!!!
November 2, 1997 -- Sent out Newsletter #17 to all members of the Newsletter Mailing List.
November 1, 1997 -- Added a doppler radar of Indianapolis, IN. Also added two new satellite photos. One of Australia and one of Queensland. There are also several new cameras added to the Weathercams page. These new images were all added by request from all of you! Also, there will be a newsletter sent out soon so be looking for that:)
September 12, 1997 -- Sent out Newsletter #16 to all members of the Newsletter Mailing List.
September 11, 1997 -- We added three new doppler radar images... all by request. They are: New Brunswick; Nova Scotia; and Fort Wayne, IN. We've also added several new cameras to the Weathercam Page so check it all out. We'll be sending a newsletter out tomorrow sometime so if you're not already on the mailing list, get on it now by clicking here!!
August 27, 1997 -- We found some pretty useful information about El Nino. Click here to go to a page on the internet with great El Nino forecasts.
August 19, 1997 -- Sent out Newsletter #15 to all members of the Newsletter Mailing List.
August 18, 1997 -- We're getting ready to send out Newsletter #15 in the next day, so go ahead and join our newsletter mailing list now by clicking here. There are four new images to our weather page on this date. They are a Visible Satellite Image of Europe, Pacific Infrared image, Mold Spores count which is great for those with allergies, and a Puerto Rico NEXRAD doppler radar image. We hope you enjoy these new images. Also, on our interactive weather page we've added a new section! It will allow you to calculate the windchill factors and heat index! Click here to try it out! Finally, those of you that need help or information on converting Greenwich Mean Time to your local time, you're in luck! We've finally put something together to attempt to help you. July 22, 1997 -- We just released a new feature to our Interactive Weather Page!! Check it out. We also added several new images to our main weather page. They include Puerto Rico IR, GOES-8 Hurricane Tracking, Macon, GA Doppler Radar, Columbia, MO Doppler Radar, Alaska IR, and Hawaii IR. Also, there is one new movie loop addition which is an infrared loop of any hurricanes. Whew, that's a mouthful! Please join our newsletter mailing list for updates!!
July 21, 1997 -- We're getting ready to release a new feature on our interactive weather page. Join our newsletter mailing list now to be notified when we release it.
July 10, 1997 -- Added a new doppler radar image to the Orlando/Tampa Dopplers page. There are now three doppler images on that page.
July 9, 1997 -- We're working on a new section to our Interactive Weather Page. It should be ready in another week or two. We'll post more news here later. For even better details join our newsletter e-mailing list.

July 1, 1997 -- Check out our new National Hurricane Center page which has the latest advisories and updates about tropical storms and hurricanes. Check it out.
June 19, 1997 -- Sent out Newsletter #12 to all members of the Newsletter Mailing List.
June 19, 1997 -- We got those new doppler radars online along with the North/South Hemisphere Ice Concentration maps. Under the doppler radar section of our weather page we've added a doppler image of Raleigh/Durham, NC, Des Moines, IA, Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee, WI, Baton Rouge, LA, and Tampa, FL. Check those new dopplers out! They were added because people requested them. We also added two new images under the Bodies of Water section of our weather page. Those new images are Northern and Southern Hemisphere Ice Concentration maps. Hope you enjoy the new images! All new images have a 
graphic appearing beside them. Thanks for using our weather page!
June 17, 1997 -- Working on getting several new doppler radars for different cities in the US. Also, have found ice concentration maps for the north and south hempisphere. We'll be putting these new images online very soon. Join our newsletter mailing list to receive our newsletter updates.
June 9, 1997 -- Sent out Newsletter #11 to all members of the Newsletter Mailing List.
June 8, 1997 -- Just added one new image to the general section of our weather page. The new image is a US Super Composite map. It's updated every three hours and is really helpful. It shows precipitation, cloud cover, and pressure areas. Check it out!
June 7, 1997 -- Added a new doppler radar to our page. It is a radar of Dallas/Forth Worth, TX. We also finally corrected the invalid movie links. The weather loops/movies section of our weather page contained some links that didn't work any longer. We finally got around to correcting this. There's still work to be done there, but for right now things are working just fine. Thanks for being patient with us.
May 25, 1997 -- We realized that some of the movie links on our page are not working properly. We are aware of this problem and have identified the links that don't work. We'll be replacing them soon with links that do work. Sorry for the inconvenience.
May 18, 1997 -- We just added a new doppler radar to our page. It's a doppler radar of San Antonio, Texas and was added because it was requested. Also, we plan on sending out a newsletter pretty soon so if you're not already on our mailing list please get on it now. Click here to get started!
May 10, 1997 -- Today we added two new images to our page. Both are in a totally different category. Under the section titled, "Surf Information" we've added the Island of Oahu Surf Report. This was added by request. Also, under the "Bodies of Water" section we've added U.S. Water Temperatures which is the sea temperatures around the United States.
May 3, 1997 -- Added several new images. Under the "Regional Images" section we've added two new images. These two are Mid-Western Infrared Image and Western Hemisphere Infrared Image. Under the section titled, "Weather Images in General" we have added just one new image. It is Percentage of Normal Precipitation. Check these new images out!
May 2, 1997 -- Added Water Vapor Map of US and Tropics to the general weather section of the main weather page.
April 19, 1997 -- Finally perfected the new look of the main menu on the main weather page. We've put all the links in a table format. We think this looks more attractive and plus it hopefully is easier for you to navigate. Please e-mail us and tell us what you think of the new look!
April 16, 1997 -- Added a brand new section to our weather page. It is a section that has a doppler radar of each state in the continental United States. We're very proud of this new page and we hope you will enjoy using it. Click here to access this new page!! April 12, 1997 -- Finally added Southern California doppler radar to the doppler radar section.
April 10, 1997 -- Added UK Infared image which is new as of this date.
April 9, 1997 -- Send out 10th newsletter to all members of our mailing list.
April 8, 1997 -- Well, we've gotten a lot accomplished lately. Several new images have been added to different parts of the weather page. Under the doppler radar section we added a doppler of Georgia; under the forecast section we have two new images which are the minimum and maximum temperatures expected; and finally under the general section we have three new images which are the highs and lows so far today as well as current temperatures.
March 28, 1997 -- Added one new image to the doppler radar section. It's a doppler image of Orlando, Florida. By the way, Jennifer made this update:-)
March 27, 1997 -- Finally located and put online Lake Erie Eastern Basin Ice Cover map.
March 25, 1997 -- Added link to NOTAM (notice to airmen) This link is located directly under the aviation section.
March 24, 1997 -- Added one new surf link: Santa Barbara Channel Wave Model.
March 23, 1997 -- Added doppler radar of Washington state.
March 22, 1997 -- Under the aviation section we added 850mb Relative Humidity, under the storm section we added Thunderstorm Probability and Severe Thunderstorm Probability, under the forecast section we've added Probability of Precipitation.
And remember... we do not make these weather images and maps ourselves. All we do is post the images on our own pages so it is easier for you to view them instead of having to go halfway around the world to get your weather needs. We try our best to give credit where credit is due, and we apologize if we left someone out.
