Why a Whipping Boy Web Site?

Well... Why not? They're a great "new" band, who are definitely underepresented on the Web. While there are dozens of sites for bands such as Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, The Greatful Dead, people have this nasty habit of forgetting other bands. Part of this is due to the Net population divide. For now, and for the forseeable future, the Internet will remain predominantly American led. I'm not saying it's bad. In fact it's good. It means that there's a niche for the sites that represent bands who are not in the Billboard Top 100. Band's like Whipping Boy. Is this a good enough answer?

Why Whipping Boy in particular? Because a) "I like 'em a lot"; b) they don't seem to be represented anywhere but on the record label pages; c) they deserve the coverage. Now, why not head back and find out a bit more about this band.
