Libertarinism is the government for the free. The Libertarian society consists of
complete freedom. The only crimes are those against an individual (i.e.rape, murder,
theft, assault and battery). Smoking marijuana and snorting cocaine would be totally
legal because these are "crimes against the society." There are no public
schools. There are no taxes. User fees dominate the landscape. However
inconvienent the Libertarian is the human who avoids the rhetoric in laws.

A lot of people in our (their) countries tend to think that
things right here in nORTH aMERICA are going "A" O.K., but the truth to the
matter is that many people are still living in exteme unstable conditions.
I personally lived on a half Inuit, half Cree community
located on the West coast of the Hudson Bay called Kuujuarapik (Inuit),
Whapemagoosta (Cree), Great Whale River, Poste de la Baline (Take your pick).
Living in that Community has had major phsychological effects on
me, and can never be forgotten. It makes me mad that these gentle, beautiful people have
to deal with cultural segregation and face massive change in which gives them now a sucide
rate of 10 percent (excuse the average). Can you picture ten of your friends standing in a
line and watch one of them vanish. In my past three years of visiting the North during
summer, I have had 2 friends asking me to tie the knot at the end of the rope. ALCHOHOL is
always in presence.
My Mother and Grandparents were amongst the last of the
aboriginals to live as a nomadiac people. When she was 8 years old the Government placed
her in a school in which forced her parents and many others to lose there way of life and
to be centered in a "Western Civilization". By the way, I'm Only 18, my mother
is now 37, you do the addition. I'm the first generation of Inuit not to have some Nomadic
experience flowing through my blood.
The new houses that my grandparents had to live in were basically
overgrown cardboard boxes. My Grandfather never owned a toillete, he used a pot and a
garbage bag. I remeber having to use this when I went over. This was only 12 years ago.
These are the minor things that I have seen. There are a lot of
things that I refuse to tell anyone about. I have not breathed a word about a majority of
the incidents. I'll keep them until the day I die.
The reason I love ratm so much is because they can give me a
sense of belonging. I belong with the abused, hated, poor, minority and don't mind it all
because I've seen both sides of the table and know that the abused, hated, poor, minority
are the ones who are to be enforced to be so. WE ARE STRONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people just don't know what anarchism means. They feel that the people
within the village will control their own lives with morals. They're wrong. A man could
walk into my house and rape my wife, take my posessions, and possibly kill me. What could
I do to prevent that? Think about that. There is no reason for anarchism.People are not
born with pure hearts. They're born greedy and selfish. Everyone is born greedy and has
their impurities. Long live the democratic government!

This is to the commi. Communism doesn't work. In communism there is human rights.
Everyone is supposed share. I don't want to share. I want my own car, I want my own room,
I don't want to have to move over for some bum to sleep in the same bedroom as me. I have
the works of Marx and Engels. In theory, the
whole idea is excellent. But it doesn't work. People are greedy. That's the way life is. I
myself, by true nature am a natural born Capitalist. I will fight against the dictatorship
of the so called, Proletarian Government. People it is time to stand up to what you
believe, it is time to tell these evil men of such corrupt military governments...NO! And
in the name of democracy...fight...for liberty and justice. Fight in the name of
democracy. I no the US government isn't perfect. But ask yourself, wouldn't you rather
live under a capitalist nation, with rights as humans and not slaves? Under communism,
there is no human rights. Under capitalism, the government has but one purpose...to serve
the citizens. Under communism, the people serve the government. The government is
corrupt...and if you all feel that no government is the way to go...then why on earth
would you choose communism??
Let us all live together under democracy. Let us all be lucky that we are born in the US
and not Iraq. Or the ussr. Let us look at the star spangle banner and pledge allegiance.
This is a great country. America. This is the best country to live in, and you complain!!
Stop it. Except the US government. It is truly the best in the world.

America is a good country. The government is a good institution. Those who tarnish the
true meaning of our government should be the ones to blame. The government isn't
responsible for societal ills, it's the greedy people that weasel their way in it.
Those who run our current government are part of the rich elitist party. We owe much
to RATM. We have a place to start our awareness. If we want personal freedoms and you want
to change the system to be everything it was originally supposed to be, WE have to get out
and do our part! RATM is a good springboard to get us off our feet. WE have a voice! We
need to consolidate it so that it will be heard as one loud voice that can't be ignored.
It doesn't matter what race or religion you are the more variety we have, and the more
noise we make, THE MORE WE CAN CHANGE THE SYSTEM SO THAT IT WILL BENEFIT US!!! If
you don't like the system, learn about it. if you know the whole system.. you know how to
change it. Now I'm a new fan of RATM, and I'm a middle class white-man. I have worked for
what I have. You can have anything you want if you work for it. That means the
system can be change if we work to change it. I welcome any E-mail you have for me, oh if
there are any anti-nazi league members out there, please Email me!

I hate government. They help protect the wealthier people and don't care about
the people who rerally need help. There are so many people put out on the streets
and are told to get a better life, but because no one will even give us a chance we can't
even attemt to change to the slitest bit of their aproval. Everyone blams things on the
teens, because of how we dress or how we look. But idiots who are so judgemental are
the assholes who put us where we are today.
thanks for hearing me out,

Recently I just got expelled from my boarding school. Three weeks short of my
graduation date. The purpose for this was I got busted for shoplifting. Story goes---
Wal-Mart, just made us give merchandise back, they weren't gonna press charges the cop
there was cool with that. Big chief police guy comes in after we leave and persuades the
store to prosecute us. Twenty minutes later we find we are kicked out of school with few
options left, seeing how graduation is right around the corner. My point is, no one was
sympathetic with us. Fuck the cop, fuck the school. School did not have to do this , yet
like the government, they took all the power they had and did what they could. Nothing to
help me out. They don't NEED people like me in school. Kids make mistakes, as I am sure
the authority figures of today
did when they were young. I just realized that I was fucked by 1. the head policeman, and
2. the head of the school. They did not have to perform the actions they did, neither did
I, but I know what i did was wrong. Thanks to the power trippin indiviuals I will not be a
high school graduate.. Fuck the powerholders, because that is their only plan. They care
about no one other than themselves or the things they are trying to obtain.

When my family move here from the Philippines we thought it's a new beginning. Leaving
fascism, poverty and hunger behind us, we assume America would be a bright future. But all
this subjective analysis where completely wrong. We suffer from racism, exploitation and
oppression. Not just my family who suffer from this rotten society but also other races
and the American people. The peoples struggle between the third-world countries and the US
has the same condition but in different styles. Both faces the policies and practises of
IMPERIALISM. This is the root of our problems in social, economic, culture and
politics.
One of the effective way to overthrow this machine is to unit and work collectively. The
AmeriKKKan-media and petty-bourgeosie intelectuals promote and endorse individualism. This
is not applicable in a genuine struggle in liberating ourselves from IMPERIALISM,
FEUDALISM and BUREAUCRAT-CAPITALISM. The capitalists work collectively to oppress
and exploit us and they're doing a great job. To break this chain we should establish a
concrete democratic front not through anarchism, mystical and spirirual actions but a
scientific people's movement. The working class in all sectors have a victory in hand if
we work collectively.

Ya know what? The goverment is run by capitalist pigs,
capitalist pigs run this country. I bet you 10 bucks that Big billy up at the white house
is gonna get off. That slimey little bastard is gonna slither away once again. The common
person would be dead in the water by now. And yet our own laws say that the president is
An equal to you and me. F@ck that. That bastard has the lawyers, the consule of more
lawyers and political stratigests. And he don't even pay for it. A person who looked at
the political situation in this country who really had no knowledge of it before would
wonder why the american people hadn't crucified it's leaders 50 years ago and started a
new goverment.
We'll the answer to that is simple, it's because the american people
for some reason have this trust in their scandal and money driven goverment. It is because
of simple brainwashing. Children at there earliest age are taught the constitution and
told to worship a god who happens to support the goverment in conjuction with this. The
brainwashing begins in the schools. That is where the revolution should start.

Jeff: I believe that people should have the freedom to be their own government and do
what they want with their lives rather than having to live up to the laws and standards of
government today. I belive that there are certain things that should be governed still (I
mean laws) Like Child abuse Rape And molesting. And murder in the first degree. After that
it is just the cops spoiling everyones fun and fucking up our lives. With their badges.
They fuck us up.
Jeff Bernays <jprbfat@hotmail.com>
You guys are so right! I'm getting pissed off at the two faced american civilisation!!
When will people learn that they do have a brain and they can make their own minds up and
not be influenced by the alimighty 'states'? Ya know, they help themselves but when it
comes to helping others they are nowhere to be seen.
a good example is with the ozone hole, when Australia asked for help in combatting it the
Americans turned around and ignored the aussies, when they saw a hole above their heads
things changed. Vietnam is another example, they sent innocent men, most not even from the
states off to die! Don't get me wrong, the u.s.a can do some pretty good stuff, a little
morals wouldn't kill them though. Thanx for listening.........see ya

Hey -- I'm impressed that this page actually has a place where people can (attempt to)
debate the views of Rage. Heres my take on the whole thing:
It seems, from reading a lot of the posts here, and talking to a lot of people I know who
support Rage, that many fans (that is many, not all) are very much hypocrites. They sit
there and talk about how awful the education system is, how "brain washed" the
"system" makes them, and how they don't want to take the spoonfeeding they are
given, but then, they turn around and are spoonfed whatever Rage tells them. I'd like to
know how many of the fans who are raging against the machine actually take the time to
study history and politics, and actually try and find the truth themselves. I can tell
you, not everything Mr. Morello and Mr. De La Rocha say is correct, and they too
perpetrate half truths. They admit it -- they admit they engage in propaganda, and
propaganda is the art of telling half truths to manipulate people. You'll rarely find in
any history book anything that is a lie, nor will you find things that Rage says are lies.
The essence of propaganda is including, and not !
including _facts_ in such a way that people will believe your views. It is not lying
wholly. I believe, if you truly study history, you'll find that the truth about the United
States, and everything, lies between good and evil. There are no perfect governments,
perfect systems, or perfect people. Even saints are sinners, and even the Land of the Free
had slavery.
Capitalism Vs. Communism:
I have studied Marx a bit, but not enough, at this point, to give an informed opinion on
his theories, so I will refrain from doing so. I could say the same about Capitalism, but
from my admittedly limited perspective, I will give my opinion. Capitalism frightens many
people for one reason: It requires that they are responsible for their own lives. For
many, this is a difficult concept to accept. It is easier to claim that you are a victim.
That it is the "system" that is wrong, not you. That it is society's fault. That
it is your parents' fault. I am not saying that you are often not affected by things
beyond your control. What capitalism requires, however, is that YOU must deal with these
things. If you decide to sit and whine about your troubles, you find yourself in the same
spot. You whine some more, and you are still in the same spot. You try and combat your
troubles, and maybe you'll win. Maybe not. Either way, your life is your responsibility
and no one else's. Some re!
vel in this, and others are frightened by it. It seems to me that the ones that most often
complain about "the system" are the ones who lose. The ones who try to combat
their problems and fail, or, for some, who simply don't try at all. It is understandable
for people who have a rough time to be bitter. What bothers me about a lot of (again
a lot, not all) rage fans I meet, is that many of them are teenagers (like myself) who
have no real experience in the world, and yet they talk about how unjustly THEY have been
treated. I doubt Rage would even endorse this attitude. From what I see, Rage seems to be
about helping people who, for whatever reason you may argue, have not been dealt a good
hand by life. NOT some middle-class/rich kid whining about how unfair they have been
treated.
School: The whole education thing really gets me. I have NEVER had a teacher who has tried
to prohibit me from thinking. Every teacher I have ever had has told me to express myself
as best I can, even if I disagree with them. Granted, I have a very limited perspective,
and I don't doubt that there are very controlling teachers out there, but I'd imagine that
they're much fewer than most teens would have people believe. I've found all of my history
teachers to be fair when talking about the United States' actions throughout history.
Regardless of what anyone tells you, you have an abundant amount of information available
to you. Politicians may try to remove books, but I doubt they ever will, and most
libraries I have visited carry a very good variety of views on different topics. Honestly
folks, it is your fault if your only education comes through school. It is also your fault
if your only education comes from Rage Against the Machine. Seek your own truths. Be
objective, and !
try (however difficult) to read history and politics as if you have no personal biases,
and maybe some form of the truth will emerge. One other thing I would like to comment on
is the relevance of things like algebra and geometry. I too hate these classes :-) They
bore me to death, but they teach you to think. School in general is designed, not to teach
you WHAT to think as a lot of people seem to believe, but to teach you HOW to think (again
this is coming from my own experience at the school I attend). You probably won't be
solving logarithms or quadratic formulas or finding angles of triangles IRL, but the type
of thinking you are using is important, and especially important to anyone interested in
philosophy. It is reasoning: using logic to reach a conclusion based on information you
know/are given. This is the very essence of philosophy. If you cannot do simple reasoning,
then you will have very little understanding of Engels, Marx, Hegel, Locke, or whichever
philosopher you study. The education system is certainly not perfect, in fact there are
obviously many faults with it, but nor is a great evil. Like many things, it is neither
angel nor devil.
Myself: I hope in writing all this, I have not come across (although I probably have) as
self-righteous or a know-it-all. I am 17 years old, and I understand that at this point in
my life, I am very unlearned and have a long way to go. What I wish that a lot of the
teenagers who support Rage Against the Machine would understand this more about
themselves: would know what they don't know. I am not saying be apathetic, but at
least understand that, before you talk about trying to radically change anything, learn as
much as possible and make as informed a decision as you can. Its the same as learning to
fly a plane: If you jump into the cockpit and try to fly without any prior knowledge,
you'll probably crash and burn. It takes learning and experience. To everyone young,
including myself, in the words of Plato, "You are so young, my son, and, as the years
go by, time will change and even reverse many of your present opinions. Refrain therefore
awhile from from setting yourself !
up as a judge of the highest matters." If anyone has any comments, or wants to
discuss things, please feel free to mail me at: nutshell@keene.k12.nh.us.
To the webmaster: I hope this isn't too long, I had a lot to say. If you feel it is
irrelevant or too lengthy, either edit to whatever you feel is relevent, or just send it
back to me and I will edit it, or whatever you feel is necessary. Its great you have a
place for people to post their opinions, keep it up.

i came upon an article in the net which reads "rage against the machine abandons
fans" by a certain Rob Auton. the article stated statements that were in direct
contradiction to rage against the machine stand that america's policy was inverted. i
simply couldn't believe that rage abondoned their fans and am simply upset at the
statements made by the band members. i see this as demeaning and not like rage at all.the
article has left me feel being violated and manipulated. i'm now confused as to who the
real enemy now is. if this article is true, then i think rage should have that bullet in
their fucking head. i hope u could shed some light to this blasphemous affair and to
continue to rage against the inevitable.

My name is James Woodard I am a student at a Catholic Academy (A real school that does
not teach lies-see the song take the power back) Im very interested in what rage is
actually trying to say because I believe that the lyrics pertain somehow to me and my
religious beliefs as you might know traditional catholics believe that america,in its
state right now, is very immoral and wrong. Ive been learning alot from the head priest
about how the government is actually not a bad system but that it is the people who run it
are corrupted. I just read the page that said how the band members yelled at the fans for
following them for the wrong reasons. The traditional catholics right now even believe that
the church right now is in a troubled state w/ John Paul II the current pope leading it in
the wrong direction. I should hope to say that I am following rage for the right reasons
and im studying into it to find out if my theory is correct so hopefully in this letter I
can reach the right people and get my answers.I dont get to use the internet much, I am
living with priests in a bording house and dont exactly get a chance to do much. but that
is all in keeping my teenage mind in order right? In my philisophy class I have been
learning a lot about from the priest that teaches it, and I have found alot of teachings
of the church to coincide with some of rages lyrics. well Im going to stop rambling now
and send this. one more question. What Religious beliefs do the band members have? O.k two
questions. I have heard that Zach is a straight.

I've read many of the "views" that people have put up, and was disapointed to
see such brutal energy put against the government and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to back what they
say. It means nothing if you simply put in all CAPS, "THA GOV'T SUCKS, YEAH
LET'S TAKE THE POWER BACK." I mean, it's great that you're into Rage Against
the Machine (which, as most people have figured out by now, is much more than a band), but
back up what you say. Before I put in my two cents I'd like to say that I'm a huge
fan of Rage and this is the best Rage page I've ever come upon.
First of all, though the government may not be perfect right now,
communism is NOT the way to go. Sure, you can read books about it and go to the
local library where they have propaganda on it and claim it's the perfect solution...it's
not. Born and raised in Beijing, China, I came here to the United States at age
four. I've also recently visited there just last summer. If you are naive
enough to think America's so poor, so sick, so evil...look around you. You're
sitting at a computer, something over 75% of Chinese natives cannot afford, plus you have
access to the Internet. You've got your clothes, your room, your two car garage.
You've got three meals a day, a roof over your head, you've got money. Being
a victim of communism (by the way China's on the rise to Democracy, I've heard), China is
a huge land where a billion people are packed into small, poorly sanitated and dirty
apartments. Poverty is above common I've observed many people sleeping in the
same clothes they've had for seven years with the cloth ripped and scuffed to almost
nothing in the street, lying there with no food, family, employment, or home.
Discrimination is more than daily religous people are often scoffed at,
Americans are envied, people even discriminate among themselves, as in whose family makes
more income (which doesn't really matter you have no hope in getting a single house
with a backyard in China, trust me). Kids are skinny, adults struggling to put food
on the table with the low income. Prices on products are very low. You are not
allowed to have more than one child otherwise the GOVERNMENT will dispose of it
mercilessly. Communism is a totalitarian form of government, or oligarchy, meaning
instead of a dictator such as Hitler running the show, a small group are in charge.
No voting. No campaigning. No equal say women are paid
considerably less. How bad does America sound now? You aren't even allowed to
watch a particularly movie "Red Corner", which is about the over-corruptness of
the Chinese government in China. Although I am fortunate enough to be communicate to
other people because our family was not a victim, I still look around America and think,
"What do you have to complain about? Ignorance and hypocrisy reign in the
Sates." Please write to me if you want to...

Everyday I sit in school listening to a bunch of bullshit. My teachers don't know what
the fuck they are talking about. My computer teacher is qualified for math, but she
teaches computer in sweats because she does PE, too. I was given a report called
"What does freedom mean to me?" in history. Being a rage listener for quite a
while, I immediately thought of writing an anti government speech of how freedom is a lie.
I did some research and found, like the people here, that some are very against the
government, and some aren't. Its true that our government is corrupt. Just look at
Clinton. His draft dodging ass whores off with bitches and tokes up in the white house
while a veteran sleeps on the streets. Its plenty fucked up. But when you look at the
entire world, you see that no government is perfect. What is the ideal system? What
exactly is freedom? This is probably one of the only countries in the entire world where a
citizen is allowed to carry a firearm. That!
is an example of freedom. But when some dumbass store clerk won't sell me a fucking rage
CD because of the PA sticker on the front, thats bullshit. And when a person is turned
down a job for the clothes her wears or the color of his skin.. thats unforgivable. I am
just looking for some feedback. Is this country really as locked down as some say it is,
or are people just making the small problems worse? Thanks to all that respond, and I hope
I haven't offended anybody or insulted their views.
toastedpig@hotmail.com
Well, many of these comments are interesting, but I have one thing to say. For
those of you who think that the world we live in sucks, and the government sucks, think
about anarchy. Anarchy is life without rules-it is hell, by definition. THink
about it. WHen there is a riot, anarchy breaks out. Would you want to live in
a world where people looted without conscience, killed without thought, and pillaged
endlessly? No- I don't think so. If you don't like the government, don't just
bitch about it, try to do something about it. It's not as if nothing can be done,
they've done it before (think about the Revolutionary War, Women's lib, The Civil Rights
movement etc.) One other thing: guns. For those of you who feel that any law
passed that controls the use of guns is infringing your second amendment right- think
about the recent spree of shootings in elementary and middle schools. Wouldn't this
violence end if these children, who are irresponsible and don't understand t!
he consequences of their actions, simply didn't have axcess to weapons designed to take
life? Yes. If kids aren't allowed to drive until 16 and smoke until 18 and
drink until 21- all possibly, but not definitly dangerous activities, then why can they
use weapons, especially semi-automatic rifles, when they are 10? 5? THere is no
limit to the young age at which a child can use a gun. That's why there is violence,
and shoolyard shootings, and gang shootings, and accidental shootings. Restrict
axcess to guns, especially guns for no real purpose other than recreation, and the
violence will be curbed significantly, if not stopped altogether.

We live in a society where money is used to judge your competence. There needs to
be a change. A country in which people slave under a supervisor who is in a position
of power due to the fact that he or she is financially secure. One needs an
education to compete in this word but a college education is so expensive that many people
who are intelligent are unable to further their education due to financial short comings.
We need a system where everyone has equal opportunities. The people are
controlled by a system that is mostly made up of upper class white males who pretend to
believe that they know what is best for the people when they, in fact are the minority.
The people of this country need to stop settling for a second class way of life.
We need to take the power back.

head_rules@hotmail.com
I think that everyone is brainwashed. We are forced to obey rules, rules that we
did not decide for ourselves. Back when we were under British control, they made the
rules and we didnt like them. So a couple of guys named Adams, Jefferson, and Paine
changed the rules. They refreshed the tree of liberty. We cannot be subject to rules we do
not make for ourselves. How can we call ourselves free, when we do not live in a
free world. We need to rearrange things. We sit in school and listen to
someone tell us their opinion, and if we challenge them we our sent away. Or we sit
at jobs and listen to bosses tell us what to do and when we challenge we are fired.
The tree of liberty needs to be refreshed. NOW IS THE TIME

People need to change
because of the change
Striker311@hotmail.com
I believe the main key in change is action every action has a reaction. Nothing
will get done if all you're doing is saying something needs to get done. If all you want
to do is talk to change things, information would be cool. Just reading the passages ahead
and before, I give a thumbs-up (excluding bits that violence is the key, among others and
especially that the U.S. sucks, even be it if there are corrupt politicians and actions
taken, the U.S. is the best place for "freedom" and "expression" -
just try saying the government (Russian government) sucks in Russia and see what happens).
The more you know, the more you can take the "facts" in your History books and
disregard them. Even when reading about Natives in history books in elementary school I
thought it was a whole lot of biased information. The book would literally say something
like, "Indians scalped the white settlers because they liked the taste of blood and
were jealous of their hair hair." The morbid art of sc!
alping was'nt even created by the Natives, but the greedy, demented, power-hungry
Europeans. Ignorance is bliss only when you don't care. We all should know that we killed
and murdered and lied to get this country as well as the fact that the government doesn't
want us to know the truth, hence the misinformation in your textbooks and the non-existent
information on Chiapas, Peltier, AIM and etc. These facts do not mean that the U.S. sucks.
We, as a people can change things, but in order to do this, we must be united. The reason
why you don't see major changes in the government is partly because the government has
corrupt members, but mostly because not enough people share the same views and form
coalitions. Just think about this this scenario: you go out - to school, to the mall, to a
movie, whatever - and you start talking to people about how corrupt things are and how you
would like to make a change about something (say the Kosovo crisis) and you give them
valid information and everything. You say you are starting a group and forming a petition
or whatever and you would want their help in the name of freedom, humanity and justice
(all the things we should be able to take for granted, but have to fight to be able
to retain them, even in the U.S.). Guess what will happen next? They'll start saying
things like they have no say, that they can't do anything about it, that the U.S. is
taking just fine care of the situation, and most importantly, that they disagree with you
totally, whether or not your purpose is that you are trying to save a couple thousand
lives or not. Right now I would love to go out and do something like that, but I don't
even know where to start. I try to look for information, writing to congresspeople,
whatever - the facts just don't seem to be there on helping with a vast act like that
except for giving them some money. One definite thing is that you can start in your own
community. Just doing stuff like helping with the local YMCA, Boys and Girls club,
homeless shelters - you and I know the list can and will go on - will be a great help. I
remember something that a person said before, "Remember, usually what you think will
help a litlle, will usually help the most." Another thing -- RATM, you're the best.
I've been listening for around six years now and I just love the voice you portray and the
actions you take. I just wish more people had the same views. PLEASE take a stop in Reno
sometime, I can't make it too easily to the CalDepo.
Remember, the information IS out there, just take some time and look through some things.
Everybody can make a change because everything affects everything (a law in Physics), even
if at a small degree. One thing I found out recently that was a total death for my belief
that the government was keeping an agreement with the Natives. You know how there are
reservations (even though they might be the worst plots of land on the face of the U.S.)
and such? Their land, family, religion and community is all they really have left from
whatever the government have diminished these strong people to and they are now trying to
even take that. There is still killing taking place, as well as less sovereignty and more
land stealing. The FBI is doing their "duty," as to put it, with Aim (American
Indian Movement) members. That's mostly what Leonard Peltier was for. The most important
thing is that we are shaded to information regarding to their practices. I would encourage
anybody that feels the above stated material is unjusified action by the FBI to check out
the http://dickshovel.netgate.net/covertwar.html
page. I read it just a couple days ago and it has a petition for Peltier and Native's
Freedom of Religion in Prison to sign. It ofcourse has the information of AIM and the FBI
as well as a lot of other Native information you may not know about. It's a great column
and I recommend it to anyone who listens to Rage. One question, I've had many different
answers: Even though I'm a little Native, I'm not sure whether to refer to Indian,
American Indian, Native American or Native. I read mostly American Indian at the covert
war page, but I'm still not sure. I believe you should be referred to as anything you want
to be referred to, people shouldn't even be put into categories, but I would like to know
for reasons of feeling, view and such.
The key to being is harmony and knowledge.

our government is just a cover for our old people to go and act like they are doing
something. They really dont do anything and they sure as hell dont try to understand

POWER TO THE PEOPLE, As it says in "Year of the Boomerang". Why does China
have no Human Rights? Why must I live under the tyranical oppression of the United States
govornment? (i.e. Racism, Sexism) Why is Mumia Abu-Jamal on Death row? Why are there
Southern Right-Wing Republicans in the world? Why are people against the bill to ban
the selling of assault rifles to civilians? Will the U.S. ever stop being an Aristocracy?
Will we ever be able to "make our move and plead the first"?
These
questions, my friends, we must give answers to. You should only call yourself a
left-winger if you are an ACTIVE left-winger. I tell you all: Put the CORRECT answers to
these questions!
Together, we can make a differance!

Geez, I'm amazed at the kind of stuff that gets puts up on here. So I'd like to
make this quick and to the point.
A)I think communism is great... in theory. However, in *reality* things don't work
out in the same way.
B)I am a big RATM fan and I appreciate the nonconformity, anti-censorship, etc. messages.
But I wonder.. even though they encourage us not to take everything they say for granted,
how many of you actually do that? And I'm not referring to just mainstream info.
Have you questioned what they have to say?
C)Being a first gen. American (or second. I forget what the term is.. Hell, I was born
here, but my 'rents weren't.) I wonder.. do you all truly understand what it means to be
up against the idea that just because you're not white, you don't belong here?(Among other
things. That's just one aspect of the racism that pops up every now and then.)
Okay, so maybe that wasn't as blunt as I said it would be. Whoops.
Hieu (and that's pronounced "Hue", folks. Btw.. it's Viet.) <stargazerhobbes@hotmail.com>
What has happened to our childhood minds? I'm upset at the fact that so many people
have lost the hunger for knowledge and aquired hunger for war, ignorance, and hypocrisy.
I'm also upset at the fact that so many people fail to see the truth of American history.
So many times, I and my fellow people have been told to get out of my own country. I'm a
full blooded American Indian, half North American, half Central American. I don't like how
many people fail to see that this land is not their's. it's not their's to abuse.
I always do whatever I can to educate and invoke strong rebellion against what should be
rebelled against. I hope that you all, whom are reading this, will understand what I'm
saying and follow the path of many revolutionaries whom were/are trying to educate.
Peace, love, truth,

Its obvious the corruptness of the government stares down on us...
How?
Were left powerless and injustices rise when the government sees it's fit.
For instance, a man(Leonard Peltier) can be wrongly sentenced to imprisonment
for life...the charges can be dropped to something more innocent than the first
accusation,
but the punishment still stands tall. Tall and unbreakable.
But, people. History has shown us well, that action speaks louder than a million voices
when those million voice are set aside by ignorance, compromisation, conformity,
forced assimilation, cowardly submission, hypocricy and brutality of our government.
Our lying gov't that spills propaganda where ever it treads.

Ok, I've been reading over this page with certain views like, "Capitalism sucks,
fuck the US, fuck the world, fuck the rich pigs, Communism/Anarchism rules!"
Ok, first of all, if you're gonna go off on how capitalism/the US
sucks, at least have the decency to spell correctly. I've seen America spelled with
a k. This just proves how ignorant you are and how doped up you were when you wrote
your "comment."
To all of you that think that communism is the answer: you are so
wrong. Do you even know the true definition of communism, or what five basic rules
all communism MUST follow to be classified as communism? No? Here they are.
1: The new government must come into power through large scale rebellion.
2: The Communist government provides all basic necessities. (i.e. food, clothing...)
3: There is no religion allowed.
4: There is NO private property the state owns everything.
5: It is a classless society.
Now, let's all step back and see what we have here, shall we?
ONE: A large scale rebellion costs lives. How many of you want to die
in a battle for another type of government? Not many, and judging by the RAGE
audience, your age group would be the ones fighting. TWO, have you ever seen old
movies of Soviet citizens standing in long lines for bread? That's because the
government provided them with food. How many of you want to Stand in Line for some
bread, and not shop at our luxorious supermarkets? Didn't think so. THREE: How
many of you were raised with some sort of outlying religious belief. I think
something like 80% of the people on earth have a religion. So do you want to
give up believing just so communism can take hold? No neither do I. I am
Episcopalian. FOUR: Do you like your home? Well, you'd better not if you like
Communism, too. Under Communism, it is not YOUR home, it is the government's.
FIVE: a classless society sounds nice, huh? Well, !
that means there are no bosses. Meaning no raises or promotions if you do
well. So where's the incentive to do well? There is none, meaning, everything
a communist country produces is basically shitty just because the workers who make it have
no incentive to do it well.
Capitalism works. Sure, there are rich people and poor
people, but there's also a happy medium. Under Communism, there are only rich and
poor, regardless of rule five. The rich are involved in the government less
than one percent, and the other ninety-nine are poor and wait in line for bread. So,
to all of you who hate capitalism and want to "fucking kill" the capitalist pigs
and overthrow this government of ours, I say: get a goddamn education, get some facts, and
if you still want to "fuck the pigs" then good luck, cause there's not many of
you, and one thing a communist rebellion DOES need, is people.
Joe <JoeFroJoe@aol.com>
many people, especially teens, have this view that the government sucks. It seems that
most teens go through there revolutionist stage and their 13 year-old athiest stage.
Seriously, how many kids really stick to believing this way. Most of them become lawyers,
stockbrokers, doctors and the capitalists that I feel is the problem of America. No, I'm
not a communist. I've read Marx, and have decided, though believing in his views, in the
entirety, I can't call myself a Marxist. I've become disappointed in the governments
issues in imperialism. They seem to bow down to the capitalist. Firing on Iraq was wrong
and I'm glad to see saddam stand up to the U.S. I think more countries should.

I believe that action should not be taken directly... through history it has been
proven that civilizations rise and fall and evil is always divored. Violence won't
make the economy or government any better, instead it will only ebb all that we have
strived for. Wait until the time is right, when a new kind of democracy is born and
then ideas from everyone's minds will collaborate and we will form a prosperous nation.
Its true our government is a machine, but like any machine, it can't go on
forever... one day or another it will malfunction and a newer model will be introduced.
But until that time comes, we must lay dormant and take the slashes of the
government... its not cowardism, its patience.

You say you all want some kind of revolution? It seems somehow the passage of time has
clouded to you all how much dedication and organization one takes. Also, Are you willing
to fight and stand up for what you believe in? Do you realize sacrifices are made, or are
you all talk? In this age, it seems that talk is all people do anymore. Talking and
conflict resolution are beautiful things when people actually listen. But it is getting
tiring when the government, or excuse me the white upper class, doesn't care enough to
listen. The time taken to complain and whine about the goverment (which quite honestly
most of teenage America Knows jack-shit about), a movement could take place. Politicians
talk, it's the people who are supposed to get up and take action. All of you are being the
same bull-shit artists the politicians you hate are. You have an idea??? Make it happen.

America the beautiful. Or is it? I think that us americans just sit back and
enjoy the things that we have and are content with that. It has become the American way to
only care about ourselves and our own country, not the other surrounding human
populations. For we are all humans and should take care of each other. It's
about time we sit down and revaluate ourselves. Get up take a stand against the
wrongful actions the government presses on people. We should fight for our own
freedom and help fight for other's freedoms as well. The United States shouldn't be so
quick to fire missles upon other countries. They should sit down and discuss things
further. So get up take a stand. Boycott sweatshops.Boycott Guess Jeans.
Boycott Chinese made products for a Free Tibet. By peaceful means. Ryan

this goddamn system that has to be stalled long enough for os to stick an iron bar into
the fuckin wheels of the machine, then we watch as their precious shit-spewing monster
that they call DEMOCRACY comes tumbling down. why must we live under the heel of pigs like
clinton and all of his minions like the goddam cops who beat the shit out of a
person of minority when they get bored. schools need to be either shut down or
massively rerouted out of the white-supremacist, eurocentric, and hopelessly RACIST rut
that it is wallowing in. And those liars that they call "history teachers" need
to be replaced with people who will tell you the TRUTH about america and its history of
lies and govornment coverups.EXPOSURE CLOSE THE DOORS ON THOSE WHO TRY TO STRANGLE AND
MANGLE THE TRUTH!! we need to wake america up to what the fuckin feds are feeding us- pure
bullshit covered by a thin and inplausible skin of fantasy. if we don' then who will
stop them from going farther into corruption (!). why must the weak be there to

overthrow every last one of them and GIVE THEM A TASTE OF THE REALITY WE'RE GRIPPIN'. the

OF LIES over your eyes. We must cut off those pulling hands, we must rip open the
metaphorical belly of the shit-machine, the vice, the HAMMER AND SCYTHE of the united
states govornment. These pigs need to be tod that they need to either slit their putrecent
throats in self-punishment, or let us do it for them. we will expose them as the lieing
pigs that they truly are. speaking of punishment, that fuckin machine known as
christianity needs to be brought to it's knees. it is nothing but the oldest white
