THE CLOCKOUTS
11/13/96 - 3/7/98
The Clockouts are no more. If you think I should keep this page going,  let me know and I will.
Why did we break up? A number of reasons. One, We got bored playing the
same songs over and over again and inspirado was hard to come by. Also, we
had played a really shitty gig on 3/7/98 which discouraged us all. I hadn't
heard much from Majesky after that until July, and nothing from Jesse until
recently at a  Beaker and Bomber show. We felt like we were done for since we
couldn't come up with new tunes, and the crapola show was the last straw. I
had another "band" going (T-Magnums) so there you go. Jesse also sort of went to college...
There's other reasons, but I don't feel like going into it. I've seen Majesky a lot lately and even jammed with him a time or two. Who knows, maybe we'll get together for a reunion show or something. Anyway, the Clockouts were:
Matt Majesky: Guitar, Vocals
Jesse Blakely: Bass, Vocals
Noah Smit: Drums

Ironically, the long awaited GOT A MINUTE? Compilation on  Microcosm Records featuring the Clockouts songs Where's the Bar and Riot at the Taco
Bell came out recently. Also, my current band,  Beaker and Bomber covers
Riot a lot.
