What's new?
That's a loaded question around these parts lately. Just about everything
is new because this site underwent a major facelift this month. Here are
just a few things that have changed for the better:
- The smoke has cleared and it looks as though GUITAR GUITAR took it on the chin
in the second round of the Site Fights. It was fun while it lasted. We will fight again
one day after yet another facelift.
- Due to graduation, starting a new job, and buying a new house
(whew!), the Webmaster of Guitar Guitar apologizes for not posting
the new lessons. Once the dust settles, there may be another facelift with all
the new lessons around July. Keep checking back in the meantime.
- Thank you to all the feedback via e-mail Guitar Guitar has received
regarding improvments/oversights in the lessons that already exist.
It is our policy to keep only accurate information on the Web. Keep up
the good work!
- Go to the Links page and try the all new Worm Hole (they just moved).
You never know where you'll end up. Click on the banner and give it a spin.
- No more Java! Sacrilege, you say? After having my own browser shut
down due to my free memory being gobbled up by useless Java gimmicks, I
thought, "enough is enough". This is now a Java Free Zone. (Ooops!
Geocities now has Java banners)
- More specialized lessons. There are so many sites that teach you the
modes and scales that I want to try some application in order to avoid
being too redundant, redundant, redundant.
- Blues Lessons Online - Now with sound files. You can hear
the lesson incorporated into an audio example. Just click on the ear to hear a
sample.
- Some new articles. Be sure to E-mail any comments, suggestions, or
articles of your own to be posted here.
