For all those of you who are compaining about getting kicked off Napster. I've heard quite a bit about this in my guestbook. Now, You all claim you were diehard fans. It seems to me that if this were true, you would have all the songs that got you kicked off Napster on CD. Am I right? I have not a single Metallica MP3. I have over 50 Metallica CD's(for those of you that dont beleive this, i do, many of them are bootlegs. But for those that are bitching about napster, if I can buy 50, surely you can buy a couple to get the songs you want) and I have no need for the MP3's. If you were really that big a fan, you'd be thinking the same. But now that you can't get your free music anymore, you hate Metallica because they are trying to protect their assets. You say, "They're rich. They don't need anymore money". Think about it. 350,000 people on napster with an average of 5 Metallica songs. Thats 1,750,000 songs. figure an average of 12 songs per CD, 1,750,000 / 12 = 145,833 CD's. at $14 a pop, thats over 2 million dollars. I think that if you were in their shoes, you would do the same. Next time you complain about losing a $10 bill, think about it.
