I made it to the limo and climbed in. Everyone gave me sympathetic looks.
I sat down next to Taylor, and pressed my face against the window. The sky was cloudy. Or foggy from pollution. Whichever. I couldn't see the moon.
The car started up, breaking the silence.
Tay grabbed my hand and did not let go. I was grateful for that.
The trip back to the hotel was long. We eventually made it back, and I led the way back to our rooms.
We went in and flopped down. I tore off my ruined dress and undressed quickly. I slipped into my pajamas.
There was a knock at the door, and Walker Hanson strode in.
"By the way, Kristen, your grounding starts tomorrow." he told me, and walked back out.
Fresh tears sprung up and I blinked them away. Jam and Jess watched me quietly, and finally got undressed.
I walked out to the patio. I went over to the railing, and looked down 12 floors. I sighed.
I turned my face up and watched the skies. Finally, the smog moved and I saw the large moon .
"I'm grounded." I said to myself. I felt a slight disturbance behind me, and I knew who it was. "Taylor."
"Yeah." he said and came up beside me.
"I'm grounded." I repeated.
He nodded. "I know. But it doesn't start until tomorrow."
"I know."
It was quiet.
"You know what?" I finally broke the silence.
"What?" he asked, watching me.
I laughed ironically. "I forgot." I could feel my shoulders stinging. It hurt. Bad.
"Oh." he replied.
"Ah, I remember." I nodded. "You know what?"
"What?" he asked again.
"I think that guy in Terminator is sexy." I said out of the blue.
Taylor had a confused expression.
"Ooookay." he finally answered.
"And you know what else?" I said, folding my arms on the railing.
He rolled his eyes.
"I think you're sexy." I said, watching the moon.
He chuckled slightly. "Right."
I turned and looked at him. "I do. I love your eyes. And that neck..."
He laughed outright. "You sound like a vampire."
I went on. "The rat tail. The clothes you wear..." I smiled and dipped my voice. "They make you sexy."
He grinned. "Then I must be doing something right."
I laughed softly. The wind picked up and I shivered. "And you know what else?"
"What?"
"I'm out here at 12am with my boyfriend where no one can see us in my pajamas."
He looked me up and down and nodded, agreeing. "I could do with you dressing like that more often."
I punched him. "Don't get amourous, Casanova." Oo, my shoulders hurt like hell.
Taylor grew slightly red. "Yeah, okies."
I grinned. "You got that from me."
He grew confused again.
"'Okies', darling." I said.
He nodded, enlightened. "Well, Zac has promised you green jelly, so no doubt you'll have enough for the Army."
I came crashing back to earth.
"Yeah..." I shivered again. "I've got to get some sleep."
Taylor banged his fists on his hips. "Yeah."
"Well, goodnight."
"Morning." he corrected me.
"Whatever." I mumbled and turned to go back inside. "Night." I turned to tease him. He was facing the other way, looking down.
Now I don't know what the hell happened to me, but I was feeling... well, hormonal. ;) I walked back and trailed my hand down his back.
Taylor turned in surprise, and looked down at me with dark blue eyes.
"What'd I tell you? Those eyes and neck." I murmered and stood on tiptoe to gently kiss his neck.
He swallowed hard, and my lips moved on his neck. I ended laughing into his neck, making a loud snorting sound.
I pulled away, trying to keep from bursting. "That's cool." I got closer. "Do it again." I placed my mouth on his throat, and he obliged by swallowing.
I laughed and trailed up to his jaw. "Nice jaw." I mumbled and made my way to his chin. "Mmm... Nice chin."
He smiled widely.
I moved to his cheek. "Cute cheeks." From the cheeks I went to the forehead. "No brains there." I laughed and he smacked me lightly.
I moved to his nose. "What a huge nose." I teased and he smacked me again. I trailed my mouth over his closed eyelids, and he groaned.
I think he was nearing breaking point. I continued my torture and went down and watched his lips as he breathed loudly.
"Average lips." I said, and barely touched them with mine. "Goodnight, Taylor Hanson."
I turned and left him there, nearly in pain.
