For Martha is probably my favorite song on this album, with Blank Page. It's so cute, so touching, so.. perfect! The lyrics are so beautiful... It's the kind of song that could make you think "When wrote this, he was thinking of me" but in fact, he could have been thinking LIKE you.... because I believe that sometimes people feel the same, even though they don't know each other. This kind of song just proves that some are better than others to express themselves and the way they feel... it's just so good.

As far as For Martha what can I say except it's beautiful and I love the way billy's voice seems to carry your mind to the next word and the meaning seems to explode and journey further and
deeper each time.

When I hear for martha my heart jumps because it seems
that for one tiny minute william Corgan has gone inside
my head and stolen my thoughts. I was almost convinced
he must secretly know me, my fears, hopes, dreams and sorrows.
For some time now, I have known these factors of his lif
of HIS brain.....and I was convinced we were soul mates
But it would almost make me cry to think that if i died he would never even know I existed.
How would it make you feel to know you see the person you are destined to be with in one median or another almost everydday, and that was enough to keep you going But you knew you'd never be with them, talk to them, have a chance to love them and be loved by them.
But for that one minute, i was certain he knew i was there....
And for that reason, i have gotten so much out of that one song, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I relate to it, it makes me cry, but after i cry i feel better I know i'll be ok. ( Some day i'll follow you and see you on the other side

For Martha and Pug are my two favorite songs on the disc. Pug reminds me of some of their earlier stuff, and For Martha's beautiful guitar solo makes me weep.

For Martha is such a moving song, it means such alot to me...I think that after 'Daphne..'it's my fave.
Pug is also a good track and I like the darkness of it,but I'm not to sure about it when the song shifts to a lighter note....hmmm
