David William Green was born on October 10, 1949 and hails from Adelaide, South Australia. He replaced Christan Barker as bass player for Air Supply in 1980. A singer as well, David contributed to the backing vocals on the bands songs. This Australian born musician developed his own style of music, having been influenced by American rhythm and blues, and jazz musicians. Before joining Air Supply David played professionally. Besides playing bass guitar, he was also a piano player. David was an artist that believed you should "work real hard" if something is important enough to you.
