In Memory Of.... Frank Esler-Smith Keyboards & Musical Arrangements |
 |
Frank was born in London, England. He moved to Australia at a young age, attended Melbourne University, and gave up early architectural ambitions to pursue a musical career. Classical music was his first love and he worked conducting the orchestras for live theater, concerts and recordings. Before joining Air Supply, as their keyboard player, he was the orchestra conductor for an Australian company of Jesus Christ Superstar where he met Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock. Playing for Air Supply introduced Frank to rock music, something that Frank said changed his life.
Frank Esler Smith passed away in 1992.
