May 24,2000: Billy annouced that after the Pumpkins finish this tour they will break up. He cites the current music seen as a major reason behind the breakup. There was a reference to Britney Spears.

March 3, 2000: Ok so I haven't updated in months but no one's visiting this page anyway so I'm basically doing this for myself. Anyway. I saw the Pumpkins yesterday in Boston on their "Resume the Pose" tour where there are a bunch of surprise performances and in store signings. So..m.y whole schedule was thrown out of whack this week for these guys but it was WELL worth it. I stood on a windy Boston overpass to see them at Tower REcords. I got in and everyone had the chance to talk to each Pumpkin for a bit. Melissa AdM is really sweet. James looks very cool...Jimmy's back, blonde and all...Billy...ah...Well...he was talking with some lady..don't know who she was so I didn't get to say much of anything to him ): but I got to give him a poem I had written...I won't explain it b/c you probably have a different idea of what I mean by poem. But I gave it to him. I got pics of everyone!! Polaroids are great if you're like me and need instant gratification...

so I went to Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence that night to see them perform. They ROCKED for 2 and a half hours!!! I'm surprised I'm not deaf because I was right in front of the speakers by the stage. Well...I guess I'm deaf to start with..my ears never ring at Pumpkins concerts (this was concert #5 for me). um...I can't say too much about it. I don't want to go on and on. They played stuff from every album except PI and random singles and covers. Mostly things from MACHINA. Melissa is quite different onstage from D'arcy. She MOVES!! James had his raygun and all...very cool concert. They were all very Adoring of the fans. Very gracious.

well...that's all. I'm in serious pain right now after being on my feet mostly from 12pm tp 12am. OUCH! WEll...I hope y'all enjoy MACHINA. I'm sure you have it...or maybe not. I have several favourites. Everytime I hear track 15 (Age of Innocence) I'm like "darn! it's over already!?" So..that's how much I like it. I goes by reallyy fast.
