Picking Technique

Hey everyone, those of you who own "HEAVY GAUGE" know that the picking technique of the acoustic guitar is pretty fast. It is not that difficult to master. It just takes patience and practice. s=)

I will take the first chord of the song to illustrate this technique:

One of your fingers stays anchored on the high F# of the D chord while the other finger (preferably your thumb) arpeggiates the chord.

Finger each chord accordingly...but I do suggest this fingering for the F#7:
