GLAY "COMPLETE WORKS" CD-ROM Set-up Instructions

Set-up for CD-ROM This manual will help you prepare to view this CD-ROM. There is more detailed information in the ReadMe file in the CD-ROM. Refer to that file when you have problems with looking at this CD-ROM. The terms we used here in this set-up explanation might be different from the OS version or display driver. In that case, refer to the manual. Before you use Windows How to set your display: You must follow the instructions below to set the display: 800x600 dot, color palette 16 bit High Color. (You must change your settings to this.) 1. Click on [My Computer] or [the computer icon itself]. Then click on the [Control Panel]. 2. Choose [Display] from the picture control window. 3. Choose [800x600 pixels] out of your desktop range. 4. Choose [High Color (16 bit)] out of the color palette. 5. Follow the instructions on the computer if you need to restart Windows. How to install QuickTime If your computer doesn't have QuickTime applications 3.0, please follow the instructions below to install it. 1. Place the disc labeled DISC1 in the CD-ROM drive and wait a while for the GLAY COMPLETE WORKS window to appear. Click on the [QuickTime Install] button. 2. Please follow the instructions on the image. 3. Open QuickTime in the Control Panel. When you choose video applications, use [Safe Mode (for GDI only)] and set the sound output to [WaveOut]. Start Place the disc in the CD-ROM drive and wait for a while. The GLAY COMPLETE WORKS window will appear and you click on the GLAY COMPLETE WORKS button. The opening will appear and then the Top Menu will come. Before you use Macintosh How to set your display: You set the display resolution at 800x600 dot, which is in the [Monitors & Sound] in the [Control Panel]. Set the color range at 32000 colors. How to install QuickTime In case your computer does not have QuickTime 3.0 installed in it, the disc labeled DISC1 has a QuickTime installer. Double click on it. Memory setting and others 1. Open the [Memory] from the [Control Panel] and set the capacity at 128k. Turn off the Virtual Memory. 2. Turn off all applications and choose [About This Computer] from the Apple menu. Make sure that the maximum unused block is more than 16MB. Start Put the disc into the CD-ROM drive and wait for a while. The GLAY COMPLETE WORKS window will appear and you click on the GLAY COMPLETE WORKS button. The opening will appear and then the Top Menu will come. Attention 1. When you play back the CD-ROM or are reading the data, do not mouse-click so intensively. Mouse-click only if needed or indicated. 2. If you feel that the action is too slow, please make sure that there is enough memory in your PC. 3. It is possible that this cannot be played properly depending on the type of video or sound card. Warning This is a CD-ROM. Please do not play back in a normal audio CD Player. The loud volume might break your boom box and in case you are wearing headphones, it's possible that it may cause hearing damage.
