Deeper me

As I open my eyes to darkness
I can only hope that I can see
See past every bit of darkness
every bit of darkness inside of m
Not shine a light like many do
I only wish to see every bit of me
To understand who I call me
In deep he may be dark, and if he is then it is so
for deep down that is me, is he, the he I am
I open my eyes to darkness, unlike so many others who do
for deep within my darkness my eyes fell to you,
So deep deep down inside me, no man shall ever see, but deep deep down inside me, that me becomes the he
for deep deep down inside me, so deep no light shall dwell,
that deep deep down inside me, I escaped my form of hell,
now listen to what I have to say for it surely is no jest,
nor let these facts lie limply on your chest, rising and falling on your chest
that deep deep down inside me, no light shall I ever need,
for deep deep down inside me my heart is my true steed.
My mind an armor non can break, but surely there are ways in,
but deep deep down inside me, my true story shall begin
so look not into to darkness with light so close to hand
for deep deep down inside me, no light can understand
that I am who I truly am, and that only I may change,
that deep deep down inside me lies no man in chains
he lives his life so freely, so far you think from me,
but take your spot light off of me, and he, you’ll see is me.
