How it all
happened:
Back in 1991, Spike and Jimmy were dancers on a late night show
called The Hitman and Her. Their fancy footwork caught the
eye of the audience and the duo formed a team with the name, 911.
Spike and Jimmy were searching for a third member when along came
Lee who immediately hit it off with the two of them and the
boyish-looking heartthrob jumped aboard the 911 bandwagon. And
the funny thing was that Lee was the chap who brought his younger
sister, Rebecca to the show which Spike and Jimmy were performing
in because she was an avid fan of theirs!
Claim To Fame:
These pint-sized crooners must be the shortest boy-band in the
universe! Lee and Spike stand at 160cm while Jimmy is about 165cm
tall.

heard that… :
Lee is going out with Baby Spice, Emma Bunton. They were
reportedly smooching over the New Year holidays but according to
Lee, it was just a "Happy New Year
kiss".(Arrrrrrrrrggghhhh!!!)
As for Spike and Jimmy, well, keep your fingers crossed, girls!

Discography:
In their salad days, 911 were on their own with an independent
record label, Ginga Recording Company. Their catchy tune 'Love
Sensation', reached No.21 in the UK Top 40 in August 1996 and it
was this phenomenal success which captured the attention of major
record company Virgin Records so in October ’96, Ginga and
Virgin joined forces to boost 911’s publicity campaign.
In March this year, 911's single ‘All I Want Is You’ entered the UK charts at number 4, then fell to number 8 and number 19 in its second and third weeks.

None so far although lead singer, Lee Brennan has appeared in a
Diet Pepsi advertisement.

Lee --- Brown sugar, people puffing away while 911 is
performing.
Spike --- Smoking and being woken up early in the morning.
Jimmy --- Smoking, dishonest people and being bored.
Mirror, mirror
on the wall, who’s the strangest of them all…:
Lee --- Never eats anything which he doesn’t like the
sound or look of such as octopus or squid.
Spike --- Eats everything with beans and has been known to polish off at least three cans of beans a day.
Jimmy --- Has an obsessive-compulsive disorder with cleaning just like Monica (played by Courtney Cox) in Friends; the trio used to be house-mates in Glasgow and he would clean up after the rest.
