Chapter One

Kevin walked through the house quietly. He looked in the kitchen, then headed to the living room. He stopped when he saw what he was looking for. She was sitting on the couch, wearing one of his old shirts and looking at a movie. Kevin looked up and smiled when he saw the movie. He walked over and wrapped his arms around her neck, causing her to jump. 'Hey baby,' he said softly in her ear when she had relaxed. 'Kevin!' Christina said as she jumped up and over the couch into his arms. Kevin laughed and hugged her tightly. Christina hugged him tightly then she pulled away. 'Don't even scare me like that again!' she said smacking him on the arm. Kevin laughed then leaned in to kiss her. 'You have no idea how much I've missed you!' Kevin said quietly. Christina smiled. 'And you don't think I missed you? Gee Kevin! What a boyfriend you are!' Christina said smiling. Kevin smiled. 'Hey, I know you miss me, I'm just irresitible!' he teased. Christina smiled and pulled him closer for another kiss. She pulled Kevin over to the couch and they sat down, not breaking the kiss. Christina pulled away suddenly. 'Kev...what are you doing here?' she asked. 'I came to see you!' he said. Christina looked at him. 'Kevvy....' she started. 'Okay okay, I ditched Europe...happy?' he asked. 'Kevin! You didn't!' Christina cried. Kevin laughed. 'You're right, I didn't,' he said as Christina looked at him. 'Then why are you here?' Christina asked. 'I came to see you,' Kevin said. Christina laughed and shook her head. 'You're full of it,' she said. Kevin shrugged. 'Well, actually,' he said pulling out an envelope out of his pocket. 'I was wondering if you would come back with me?' 'What do you mean?' Christina asked as Kevin nodded towards the envelope. Christina opened it and pulled out a note. Baby, I know you miss me, so look up Kevin Christina looked up puzzled. 'Kevin? What is this all ab...' she stopped when she saw him holding up two plane tickets. 'Flight to Europe to meet with the guys...for two,' he said smiling. Christina's mouth dropped open. 'No way!' she said. Kevin nodded. 'Yep, and I've also got one for Leighanne too, where is she?' he asked. Christina pointed upstairs. 'Leighanne?' Kevin called. 'Yeah?' Leighanne called walking down the stairs. She stopped when she saw Kevin. 'Kevin? What are you doing here?' she asked. 'You have a show right?' 'Yeah, last night, I caught the flight right after that, I got here early this morning, I'm leaving tonight,' Kevin said. 'How long do you have here?' Leighanne asked. Kevin looked at his watch. 'Roughly about six hours left, then we're leaving,' he said. Leighanne nodded. 'Your taking Christina on tour with you guys?' 'Yeah, and your coming with us too,' Kevin said. Leighanne arched an eyebrow. 'Why didn't Brian tell me about this?' she asked. Kevin looked at his watch. 'Oh he will....umm, now,' he said as the phone rang. Leighanne laughed and went to pick up the phone. 'Brian?' she asked smiling. Kevin turned back towards Christina. 'Will you come?' he asked. Christina smiled. 'How could I resist you?' she asked. Kevin smiled. 'You can't, that's why I already bought you a plane ticket,' he said. Christina laughed. 'You're so good to me Kevin,' she said as Kevin leaned in and gave her a kiss.
