These are the best codecs avaiable for Video and very good ones for audio. To HEAR audio-files, I recommend Real Player 3.0 or latter. To watch the Video files, only Real Player 5.0 or later will handle all the videos. This players can play direct from the WEB (default), so if you want to download into your computer, right-click the file to be downloaded and select SAVE AS.. | MOV or QT | Video | These files are huge ones (in size) but have good quality. To watch these files, you need QuickTime 2.0 or later. Program : http://quicktime.apple.com |
| AVI | Video | This files are very similar to MOV files, they are big but are not so good as MOV files. To Watch these files, you need Active Movie (that comes with IE4) or your MPlayer (comes with Win95). | WAV | Audio | All PCs can handle this files since Windows95 works with them ... no instruction is necessary. |
Problems ?
RM and RA - If the file don't open, try downloading it again. If still don't play, you need the latest version of Real Player.AVI - All the programs avaiable are microsoft ones ... with lots of bugs ... try reboot your system. If still don't play, try downloading again. If the ONLY problem is audio or video, you might need the latest codecs.
MOV - Same as RM and RA : 1st try downloading the file again, second try downloading the latest version of quicktime.
