VIRGINIA TECH MEMORIAL A makeshift memorial was set up at Virginia Tech as a semi-circle of 33 stones. Each stone has a ribbon which represents the name of someone who died in the recent shooting spree, including the gunman, Cho Seung Hui. "His family is suffering just as much as anyone else. So I think we should put a stone out for him, too," said 17-year-old Elizabeth Lineberry. "He was a Hokie just like everyone else." Jennifer Rose, 21, works nearby and and visited the memorial to pay her respects to the victims. "He (Cho) was somebody's family, but it (the rock) shouldn't be with the people he killed. I don't understand it," she says. Thousands of people participated in a moment of silence at noon on the campus. And as church bells tolled in the distance, students released 32 orange and maroon balloons, each bearing the name of a victim. The school's president placed a red rose in the center of the stones.

A voicemail left by Hollywood A-Lister Alec Baldwin for his 11-year-old daughter, in which he can be heard calling her "a rude, thoughtless little pig," was published Thursday by celebrity news site TMZ.com. Baldwin recently received an outcry from fans and media about the tape. He recently issued a damage control apology to the media that seemed, well forced. Baldwin & ex-wife Kim Basinger have been engaged in bitter custody disputes over their daughter, Ireland, since the couple divorced in 2002.	The 17-year-old with the unique hairdos is hitting the television interview circuit as many people want to hear from the kid who had to deal with the good and the bad part of American Idol fame. Sanjaya Malakar generated much talk from fans and critics about the validity of the show. "It was a little hard but I try to make everything into a positive and try to learn from it," he said. "I feel like I've grown. I'm more confident because I've had this experience. ... I'm ready to go out there and do it some more." Way to go Sanjaya!	Sparked by Don Imus’ racist comment involving the words, "Nappy-headed hoe," in reference to the Rutgers women's basketball team, Russell Simmons’ Hip-Hop Summit Action Network called for a private meeting with more than 20 high-powered industry executives to discuss sexist and misogynistic lyrics in hip hop. The gathering lasted several hours, but so far the participants have quiet about what, if anything, was accomplished. Hopefully hip hop and all entertainment & media outlets can get it together.	Word on the street is that Sources say Marques Houston is now linked with singer Mila J, the girl he and Chris Stokes helped get some exposure last year. Seems as though Marques and Mila J have been spending a lot of time together. Hmm....I thought Marques was suspect. Is this some gossip control or what?

UP NEXT Comedian Chris Rock is again dealing with a child-support suit after Bulloch County, GA resident Kali Bowyer, sought child support and medical coverage for her son, Jordan, in a paternity suit filed against Chris in March of this year. She subsequently withdrew the lawsuit after court officials told her it was outside the southeast Georgia county's jurisdiction because Chris Rock lives in New Jersey. But Chris, who has two young children with his wife of ten years, is requesting that the matter be addressed in the Georgia court. He has requested that the GA court begin proceedings to determine if he fathered the 13-year-old boy in question. According to documents filed Monday, the actor "desires to contribute to the support, maintenance, and education" of the boy if it is proven that he is indeed the biological father. "She is looking forward to establishing that Mr. Rock is the father of their son and bringing the case to a swift conclusion," said Bowyer's attorney Brett Kimmel. This page last updated on: 4/23/07
