THE GAME DROPPED FROM G-UNIT AS QUICK AS HE WAS PICKED UP

50 Cent called into New York radio station Power 105 today (2/28) and announced his protégé The Game is no longer a part of G-Unit.

50 booted Game from his powerhouse rap outfit after the West Coast star appeared on Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex this past Saturday and Angie Martinez this afternoon and refuted 50’s claim that he had a major hand in assisting Game with his debut, The Documentary.

The Game appeared on Hot 97 at the same time as 50 Cent was on Power 105 and was unaware of the announcement. It wasn’t until a caller phoned in and asked Game his thoughts on 50 Cent dissing him that the California rapper learned the news.

Game carefully avoided answering the question and responded by saying he would continue to make good music.

The next caller, however, challenged the Compton star and told him he wouldn’t be as successful without 50 Cent before Game retorted by telling the female fan to “suck it.”

In a recent interview with VIBE magazine, 50 stated he was brought in by Interscope Records to resurrect Game’s album, which according to 50 was on the verge of being shelved and Game being dropped from the label.

On Saturday, however, The Game told Funkmaster Flex that his status was never uncertain nor was He ever close to being let go by Dr. Dre or Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine.

“It was the truth,” an animated 50 Cent told Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 this evening after his appearance on Power 105. “He was getting dropped. Why else would they let me be a partner on a project that [Interscope] had for two years?

“I’m so disappointed,” 50 continued. “This is crazy.”

Earlier today, The Game repeated his assertions and also noted his displeasure with 50 Cent for publicizing a shoving match the duo had.

The Game compared the situation to the spat between former teammates Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, which often took place through the media.

Yet The Game seemed to overlook comments he made during a previous Hot 97 interview when he initially discussed his and 50 butting heads over the direction of his album.

50, however, explained to Funkmaster Flex that there was no physical confrontation of any kind.

“We ain’t never had no pushing and shoving match,” said 50. “That’s entertainment. I was trying to follow up with him and not make him look crazy by saying it didn’t happen. Because he says a lot of things and then turns around and takes it back.”

50 Cent then remarked on Game calling out Jay-Z while in Amsterdam and then quickly dissipating any rumors of beef between him and the Def Jam president once he returned.

He said Game called him from overseas to check on the status of any potential disagreement Jay-Z had. 50 never got in touch with Jay-Z, but received word from sources close to Jay that the emcee was just warning Game.

The Game recently returned from a European promotional tour for The Documentary and was confronted with reports of a growing riff between him and the rest of the G-Unit camp.

Although he downplayed the situation, the rapper revealed jealousy was playing a role in the information floating around between him and his former clique.

“I been hearing mixed things, getting mixed e-mails, getting phone calls, so I don't know the nature of where this is coming from,” Game told AllHipHop.com a few days ago. “I just got back from Europe so I haven't heard a lot of things and at then end of the day, some people are frustrated with the success of my album.”

50, on the other hand, felt just the opposite.

“I think he has a problem with my position,” 50 said. “I think he’d like to be 50 Cent. Like, the head of the situation. To be technical, I make more of his record than he does.”

50 added that he contributed at least six songs on The Documentary, including the chorus for “Church For Thugs.”

He called Game’s album his EP before it was the Cali rapper’s album. “I muted my vocals and gave him records.”

In a moment that perhaps foreshadowed Game’s departure from G-Unit, the rapper revealed on Saturday his intentions of recording with Nas, a nemesis of 50 Cent.

Funkmaster Flex questioned Game for aligning himself with Nas, but the rapper responded: “When I have beef it seems like I’m always by myself.”

50 told listeners Game might as well cut the track with Nas now.

As for the rest of G-Unit, Young Buck apologized to 50 Cent on air while at Power 105 for his lyrics regarding Game on “Let Me In” when he rapped “You ain’t no Blood like Game.”

“He’s just a rapper, he don’t live it, man,” said Buck. The Tennessee native then offered to “take care of him” referring to Game before 50 intervened and told him it wouldn’t be necessary.

Lloyd Banks simply said: “He don’t move like we move.”

Meanwhile, Jadakiss and D-Block have confirmed that they are going to respond to 50 Cent’s disses in the song “Piggy Bank.” The Yonkers native called into DJ Clue’s radio show late Monday.

“I got a whole clip loaded up,” Jadakiss said of 50. “Half a dollar is nothing. I’ma destroy this dude.”

Joe called the rapper a “CB4 gangster” and quipped 50 has been beefing with Ja Rule for 4 years and hasn’t even slap boxed him yet.

During 50 Cent's interview, an unidentified man was shot outside of Hot 97’s offices in New York.

According to sources, the man was a 20-year-old Los Angeles male in 50 Cent’s entourage. 50 Cent and Olivia were immediately ushered out of a side exit to the building. Police are currently investigating the shooting and no suspects were available as of press time.

The victim was shot in his leg and taken to a Manhattan hospital for examination.

UPDATE

Sources close to the Hot 97 shooting investigation say that on Monday night, The Game and some his own crew went to the rasio station while 50 Cent and company were still on-air.

Game and his people were not allowed in the building and, as police tell it, got into a confrontation with a group of men who were leaving Hot 97.

A 23-year-old Compton, California man named Kevin Reed was shot in the buttocks.

It has been confirmed that Reed was with Game’s Black Wall Street entourage and was visiting New York for the first time.

No suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made.

In related news, police in New York have announced that they will closely monitor sites frequented by rappers, in an attempt to prevent further bloodshed.

“There is going to be increased attention to rap," a high ranking police official told the New York Daily News. “They can't feel they can come into New York to settle a grudge."

FAT JOE RESPONDS TO 50'S DISS TRACK

With his new album, All Or Nothing, just on the horizon (Apr. 26), the Don Cartegena, aka Fat Joe is ready to put the naysayers to rest. Peep it as Fat Joe puts his fans on to what's really good with his new album, dieting, and rap beef.

Reenergized off the success of his summer smash "Lean Back" and a well-received Terror Squad album, Fat Joe is focused this year. With a new diet under his belt, The Don is watching his weight go down as his popularity rises. "It was just a New Year's resolution I made and I stuck with it. Its been working," Joey says before taking a grip of some unbuttered popcorn.

While the newly slim Joe enjoys his diet, he's letting cats know he still has plenty of room for beef. Just last week, Joe called into DJ Kay Slay's set on Hot 97 right after a 50 Cent interview in which the Queens rapper poked fun at Joe and several other NY emcees.

"The man disrespected me on a record. He's disrespecting me on the radio. A lot of my fans have been with me 12 years and I keep telling people I'm the realest. I'm at home relaxing and I got people calling me -I turn on the radio and he's talking wild reckless. So I had to call up and tell 'em how I feel. Not like it matters, but it is what it is." Joe tells SOHH.com

Though the Don addresses the beef, he makes it clear he's not the one to start it.

"I never looked for this. "I'm not into that rap battle sh!t. In fact I criticized it for years cause to me its WWF talking about people. To me, if you have a problem with a man, you call him up and get it popping. We have a lot of friends in common and he knows exactly where to find me -call me and we can do whatever.

"So I'm gonna address it one time and one time only. The fans wanted me to address it, so I am on my album one time and just keep it moving. Cause I'm not into all this negative attention. I'm into making good music. That's it."

JADAKISS ALSO TO RESPOND TO 50

Jadakiss is finally speaking out in response to 50 Cent's dis track "Piggy Bank," and he can barely keep from smiling.

"I don't know what's wrong with 50. But I thank him for the opportunity to [let me] air his ass out."

"This is the best thing that could have ever happened to us. As long as we do it right, we can't go wrong from this. I can sell, I can make Styles' album double platinum alone just off this whole thing. My album sales for Kiss of Death is gonna start going up off this whole thing. It's just swinging the momentum our way, which we needed."

Jada said he wasn't surprised by "Piggy Bank" coming out because he has "spies" close to the G-Unit camp. He was, however, flabbergasted by what he called a weak lyrical showing by 50 on the song.

"When I heard 'Piggy Bank,' I was happy," Kiss laughed. "I felt way worse when I heard [Beanie] Sigel's [dis] record [a few years back]. 'Piggy Bank' was funny to me.

He's gotta have something else. That can't be it, it's garbage! I guess it was just a jab. But the power punch I'm gonna give him, that wasn't the right arsenal to start off the fight with."

On "Piggy Bank," 50 does say the track is just a warning shot, and hints he has more barbs up his sleeve. Kiss says that battle rapping is nothing new to him and he'll gladly go back and forth for as long as 50 wants.

"I just want to benefit off it," Jada said. "I need Styles' album to benefit off it. That's where the real response is gonna be, but until then, I'mma give you a whole plate of hors d'oeuvres to live with until it comes. This is right up our alley, and I got nothing to lose. I'm still gonna sell 900,000 records, I still can go in any 'hood and I still get love from the people. This is just helping me out."

Jada thinks that 50's "Piggy Bank" is just a publicity stunt. As for Jada's thoughts about Game being booted from the G-Unit for saying he was staying out of the "Piggy Bank" beef, the LOX rapper says 50's gone mad.

"I don't know what's wrong with 50," Kiss said. "But I thank him for the opportunity to [let me] air his ass out."

THE GAME'S WEB SITE GETS HACKED

Someone allegedely hacked into The Game's web site, "The Black Wall Street" and posted bogus information on the forums. They even used the name of The Game's older brother, Big Fase 100, and posted a comment that said he "held 50 Cent responsible" for shooting Kevin Reed.

The post read:

"Them hoe a** n*ggas security shot my lil homie. Its all bad @ the radio station."

"He got shot 3 times. He is ok. It wasn't 50 Cent security, it was one of his n*ggas though. I'm holding 50 Cent
responsible."

Kevin Reed was accompanying The Game to confront 50 Cent after he dropped The Game from G-Unit. The hackers also managed to upload images of 50 Cent and G-Unit.

The Black Wall Street's forums, powered by phpBB, might have been targeted by a publshed exploit which demonstrates how to use security holes in PHP to steal database passwords for the popular phpBB bulletin board program.

"This is not a phpBB exploit or problem, it's a PHP issue and thus can affect any PHP script which uses the noted functions," the phpBB advisory said, urging users and hosting providers to upgrade their PHP installations.

50 CENT ON THE SIMPSONS... IS THAT GANGSTA?

50 & Bart

50 Cent will guest-star as himself in 'Pranksta Rap', a new episode of Fox's 'The Simpsons' on Sunday, February 13th.

The show episode is as follows: After sneaking out of the house to attend a 50 Cent concert and getting busted by Marge and Homer, Bart fakes his own kidnapping, hiding out in Kirk Van Houten's bachelor pad, to prevent being grounded.

It's up to Springfield's bumbling Police Chief Clancy Wiggum to save him. Inspired by an apparition of Barney Fife, Wiggum cracks the case, rescues Bart and is promoted to Police Commissioner, while wrongly imprisoned Kirk becomes a ladies' man among the felon-loving singles of Springfield.

OK I just may have to suffer through this show just to see this.
