Ideal is their name and these brothers are blazing hot. If you don't recognize the name by now, I bet you've heard their hot debut single "Get Gone". These hot boys hail out of H-Town (Houston that is) and are currently tearing up the charts, the video shows and radio airwaves. If you're still drawing a blank, then.. "I think I'd better leave, you alone...."

Ideal consist of Maverick Cotton, his brother Cedrick "Swab" Cotton, their cousin L. "PZ" Perry and long time friend J'Dante Green.

They dropped thier album in September and have been burning up the charts ever since. The guys plan to release their next single in mid-to-late February.

The album consists of 17 bangin' tracks, but their first hot single "Get Gone" was produced by Jazze Pha better knownn to us as David Holister, ya heard?

Ideal also did a collaboration with Jagged Edge's Bryan Cox and the Casey Brothers on the song "Creep Inn". This cut is another song that says what all single men have wanted to say for a long time.

No doubt Ideal is hitting up the love ballads, but they do have a definitely club banger which was produced and written by a Babyface protégé by the name of Jon John. It's a hip-hop orchestra of strings and timpani called "Break Your Plans (wit yo man)". Ideal has a busy roster going on right now. In October they joined the TLC tour and remained on the lineup through December. Then from there the guys joined a tour featuring K-Ci & JoJo, Ginuwine, and Donell Jones, for 21 dates, starting in January.

The group also did a few television dates. They showed up on the Jenny Jones show to perform "Get Gone," and taped performances for an upcoming "ladies only" episode of the UPN sitcom "The Parkers".

With the super-producer line up packed into this cd, plus the sexy vocalists hitting all the right notes, Ideal is one of the hottest groups of 2000!
