Johnny Angel and the Swingin' Demons

Johnny Angel and the Swingin Demons are the premier swing band in New Orleans. In terms of talent and musical brillance, they also are one of the best bands in New Orleans. Johnny Angel, the lead singer, has a great voice and not to add his beautiful hair that drives the girls wild. Julia La Shae, "The Redhead Canary", "The Doll", who also sings generally half of a set, has a voice as sweet as a combination of a bird and Ella Fitzgerald. The band, The Swingin' Demons, are extremly tight, keeping a good rhythm and balance, while at the same time blasting out beautiful solos. The music will keep you up dancing on your feet.

Their shows are always jam-packed (which sometimes is a bad thing) and I personally guarantee that you'll have night of great dancing to great music. Not only do you get to hear the sweet sounds of Johnny Angel and the Swingin' Demons, but you also get to see many great acts including comics, drag queens, magicians, fire-breathers, Mikey Sticks, Vaudeville, tap dancing, and the amazing burlesque.
