This debut album from Ottawa`s glam pop darlings Starling remains one of the year`s most addictive discs.

Buoyant lead singer Ian Lefeuvre`s unabashedly honest love song lyrics are the main draw. They manage to stay this side of sappy, with a little help from the band`s tight, guitar-driven arrangements.

Top marks for the album`s star, the gleeful slow-builder Delusional.
