I went to BSB in Minneapolis on Oct. 9th. I tried to get tickets when they went on sale in August, but they sold out. I was getting tickets for my best friend and I, she was in Orlando at the time (BSB was shooting "Larger Than Life" in Orlando at the same time she was there!) so ticket buying was up to me. I woke early to get on the phone, and made it through at about 9:40, they said that they didn't go on sale until 10:00. I gave up, I did try calling again at 12:30 to find out that they were completely sold-out. I still really wanted to go, so in late Sep I put an ad in a local paper. I went to the Mall of America that weekend, when I got home I had gotten a response to my ad! The lady had 2 tickets, in totally different sections. I took them. I live in SD, so my dad had to drive us up there (to Minneapolis) which was cool because we have relatives up there. The concert was pretty much like everyone else's experience, Brian talked about how about a year or so ago he had been in Minnesota recovering from his heart surgery. They have a huge medical and recovery center in a city close to Minneapolis. After the show I found my friend, it was kind of cool that we sat so far apart because we could compare what I saw vs. what see saw. My dad told me to call his cell phone so he could come and get us. Problem, I am in Minnesota, the cell phone # is from South Dakota, it is going to be a long distance call and I need change. So we walk around to find a place to make change that is not a bar, we end up walking behind the Target Center. A group of people were standing around. I saw this as a great chance to make change, so we walk over there. Two buses were there. We decide to hang around to see what would happen, maybe we would see the dancers or something. We did! One of them even smiled at me! The bus was playing the concert on it, and we wondered who was in there. It was getting late, and the police directing traffic were starting to leave, so we started thinking that we should go. Just than, Nick and Brian walked out! They got on the bus, Nick waved. As the bus was pulling out a girl tried to jump on it, causing a fight with security and her. Everyone was walking that, but my friend who took that opportunity to wave to Nick. He pointed right at her and waved. Cool huh? That was one of the greatest shows I have seen, and I have seen many concerts. Next time I hope I get better seats.
