While waiting outside to enter the arena we got to see the boys walking around. Since the doors were made of glass you could see everything inside. The boys walked toward the stage area but then Howie returned and waved hello to everyone. He's so sweet. And of course we took a couple of snapshots of them. They look sssssooooooo good in person.
Mandy Moore and a group called EYC were the opening acts. After a 15-20 intermission the boys came out on their hoverboards to the theme of Star Wars, i think.
They started out by singing Larger Than Life. Throughout the whole show we could feel the energy. During the second song all the boys were hanging, by some wires, over the audience. They were throwing stuffed animals and flowers....Such kind guys....Anyways, after that, Kevin played the piano, on the platform, while the other boys sang.
While singing The Perfect Fan they had some moms and daughters, from the audience, get on stage. The boys serenaded them and walked with them throughout the stage, since it was on the round. Later on, in their pink zoot suits, they sang some ballads such as I'll Never Break Your Heart and No One Else Comes Close.
My favorite part, however, was when they sang Spanish Eyes. I almost melted when i heard HOWIE start off the song. His voice sounded just like an angels' voice.
The boys introduced their band members and dancers, then Howie, A.J. and Brian got on the platform and rapped a bit. I must admit that they do it well. For the grand finale they sang I Want It That Way.
Overall, the show was full of energy and very worthwhile. My three best friends and I had the time of our lives, although the next day we had no voice.
Thank you for sending this in Elizabeth Martinez. Did ya see a concert? How was it? Tell me about it, and I'll post it up here!![]() |
