Yeah right....I updated the site within a week? YAY! hehehe. You may have noticed I changed the layout...not something I do very often. So I hope ya like it....and if ya don't, sorry, but you'll have to get used to it. It'll probably be another year before I change it again. The main reason for changing it is 'cause it took way too long for the page to load before. The page still probably takes long to load, but not as long as before.

ºI've added was news headlines to the main page (courtesy of Moreover). I've called it "Current Events" (get it...CURRENT...water...?? I'm trying hard to stick with my cruise/water theme. =+) ) Anyway, because of this addition, I had to expand the layout a little. Honestly, I'm not really happy with the way it's turned out...but it'll have to do for now.

MTV is debuting the new Backstreet Boys video "The Call" tomorrow! (Jan 12 @ 8pm!) Watch for it. And MuchMusic watchers, I'm not sure, but I'm assuming they'll be debuting the video as well. Maybe it'll play on MuchMegaHits @ 5pm or MuchOnDemand @ 5:30pm EST. Again, I'm just ASSUMING...i'm not sure about when it'll debut on MuchMusic.

"I just saw the video for "The Call" for the first time and I can't tell you how excellent I think it is. You have never seen Backstreet Boys like this. It's incredible. It's based on the lyrics to the song, but it tries to teach a lesson to guys cheating on their girlfriends. But it's like Mission Impossible meets The Matrix in a very short movie. And there's all these twists to the story, but if you keep your eye on Howie, you can see what's coming. The guys aren't even singing, they're all acting and doing amazing stunts. Brilliant."

Unfortunately the Backstreet Boys didn't beat 'N Sync's 2.4 million albums sold in one week in the States, however they still managed to sell 1.5 million copies in the States and that's EXCELLENT! They beat their old record of 1.13 million! We should be very proud of the boys! Congratulations! Not only has the group done extremely well in the States, but in other parts of the world too. They managed to set an international record selling 5 million copies of the album worldwide within their first week of sales. Woowoo!

In Canada they didn't beat their Millennium sales. Millennium sold 191 791 copies and Black & Blue sold 156 307 copies. However, both of these albums beat *NSYNC's "No Strings..." which sold 104 897 copies. I know a lot of emphasis has been put on breaking records for this album (...even I did it,) but I have to admit although I'm a little disappointed they didn't beat the 2.4 million record, the album is GREAT...and if you don't have it yet, go get one!

Wow, 2 and a half months, huh? I do still love the Backstreet Boys....I just haven't updated in a REALLY long time. The thing is though, there are so many great backstreet boys sites out there, that's it's hard to be different. It's hard to think of something that no other site has or is extremely rare to find in a site, and that's basically why I don't update. Get what I mean? So I guess my point is, enjoy what the site has for now 'cause a lot of the stuff on the site you don't come across very often.
