Nit-zer? Night-zer? What?
There are many ideas about the origins and pronunciation
of 'Nitzer Ebb', so where does it actually come
from? And how do you say it? Over to Bon...
"It doesn't really matter to us. We get people coming
up to us and pronouncing it in all sorts of different
ways. Whatever people are comfortable with is what
we're happy with them to do. Call it as you see it. We
made it up. We cut a load of letters and words up, put
them in a hat and started drawing things out, shuffling
them around--you know, a game of random chance.
We started to get something we liked so we developed it from there."
