Pre-1992 -
Cinder and Jeffery are in a band called Phoenix Iron Works.

1992 -
Band forms with Cinder Block (vocals), Jeffery Bischoff (guitar), Pete Rypins (bass/back-up vocals), and Vincent Camacho (drums) as the lineup.

1992 -
First Tilt release, self-titled 7" on Lookout! Records.

June 8, 1993 -
Release of the first Tilt full-length album, Play Cell, on Lookout! Records

1994 -
Release Worse To Bad 7" on Munster Records.

April 25, 1995 -
Band changes label to Fat Wreck Chords and releases full length 'Til it Kills, with Gabe Meline on bass and back-up vocals

Early 1996 -
Tilt breaks up, for a little while.

1997 -
Tilt reforms with a new bass player, Jimi Cheetah from Screw32.

Early 1998 -
Release of Gun Play 7" on Fat Wreck Chords.

March 17, 1998 -
Release full-length album Collect'em All on Fat Wreck Chords.
