I happened to know Snot like a couple of months ago,and finally i got Snot cd but at the same time i knew Lynn'(vocal) dead from car crash last yr. Well so this page' dedicated to Snot esp.Lynn. Thou i haven't been knowin'em long..their 1st and the only(and might be the last)album' way cool.So check out their album(discography) and get some more info bout Snot by checkin Snot links. I've been workin on other pages like (deftones and korn),and i didn't really care bout ma snot page(wut a shame),and i realized how cool they are and esp their music is.So this is a ma new page for Snot,showin ma respect to Lynn and snot members.And once again,ma all web pages are nuthin like an another metal kiz'pages.This is juss ma personal web page ok? LOS ANGELES,Dec.11.1998 - Lead singer Lynn Strait,30,of the hardcore music group Snot was killed in a car crash on Friday,December 11.1998. Though some details are still unknown,according to Sean Henning,the band's co-manager,Strait was exiting the 101 freeway between his hometown of Santa Barbara and Carpinteria when his Ford Tempo collided with a truck at approximately 1 p.m. the ensuing three-vehicle crash resulted in the death of Strait.Also killed was Strait's dog.Dobbs,who fans know from his apperance on the cover of Snot's Geffen deubt album Get Some(May 1997) and who became the band's mascot and symbol. Said Henning,who co-manages the band with Nic Adler,"We're devastated.this is a touch one.His familly,friends and fans will miss him. Lynn had a slot of fans who grew to love him though his music,and hardcore music has lots a great frontman,singer,and songwriter." Snot was in the process of recording demos for its next album,following a succesful national tour that included the Ozzfest. Strait was heading to Los Angeles when the tragedy occurred. He is survived by his mother and two sisters,all of whom live in Santa Barbara,and his brother.
