"SMF" Shirt
These shirts were ones that Mike designed
himself before I met him. Actually I saw Mike at a Cleveland Marilyn
Manson concert @The Agora (October '96) sporting his "Finger" shirt and thought,
"damn, that's a cool shirt!" Somehow, Mike & I met
through the Spooky Kids Mailing List when I started making my
own shirts shortly after that "first" encounter. It was at that point when our our creative minds started
coming up with ideas for more kinds of different yet cool Marilyn Manson shirts. Unfortunately, only one
of those designs came to fruition, the Spooky
Kids Throwback Shirt.
Mike loved the Marilyn Manson and The Spooky Kids themes, so that's primarily the kind of imagery he drew from for his shirts, as you can see.
Luckily through our "business"
venture, I was able to obtain these shirts before the printers
tossed out the screens. At one point, I had considered the notion
of re-creating these shirts for the masses but that never happened.
To this day only a handful of each shirt exists. And even
Twiggy owns the "SMF" shirt (for obvious reasons). I
haven't spoken with Mike in some time, but when I do, I'll put
