About Collective Soul

Collective Soul is a rock band from Stockbridge, Georgia; a town outside of Atlanta. They first made it big with their song "Shine" way back in '94. They've had 5 albums since then: '94's "Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid" which contained "Shine," 95's "Collective Soul" which contained the smash-hits "The World I Know" and "December," 97's "Disciplined Breakdown," 98's "Dosage" which contained the hit "Run," and 2000's "Blender." In 2001 they released "7even Year Itch," a greatest hits album with two newly recorded song. Around the time of 7YI's release, it was announced that lead guitarist Ross Childress was no longer with the band.

Collective Soul is: Ed Roland:Vocals and guitars, Dean Roland:Rhythm guitars, Will Turpin:Bass and "percussion", Shane Evans: Drums and "percussion". Former member Ross Childress: lead and rhythm guitars. Ross has played on all of CS's albums to date. That's about all I have to say "About CS."
