DINO CRISIS

Capcom's newest action-adventure game is an exclusive to the Playstation.
The game is called Dino Crisis and is produced by Shinji Mikami, who created the
award winning Resident Evil series.  Dino Crisis isn't much like Resident Evil and
the look is different and so are the characters. The game features huge 3D environments
and a whole horde of dinosaurs.  The game takes place on an island.  The game is
scheduled to release in North America and Japan this Fall.  Dino Crisis made it's debut
at the Tokyo Game Show on March 19.  The first playable version will be shown at E3 this month.
It is clear that Dino Crisis will be all that and much more.  The game is going to be
terrifying and it will make you feel as if it's you who is being chased by a raptor or a T-rex.
The game is very different from Resident, different in the way that the game is not supposed to
be about a haunted house and it has no horror. The only horror is when the dinosaurs chase you with
their quick abilities and vicious attacks.

The game looks a bit like Jurassic Park, but differs a lot.  It is also not scary like
Resident Evil and it has a different kind of horror, which is escaping from the dinosaurs.
Besides the differences the game has many new improvements that make it more tempting than Resident
Evil. First, everything is completely real-time polygonal.  Another thing is that the game is faster.
The speed is a surprise when the dinosaurs run after you and you don't know what to do, unlike Resident
Evil where the zombies were very slow.  Another thing is that the loads time are quicker.  You don't have
to wait for the game to load as the character opens the door.
One cool and realistic thing about the game is how you can use a tranquilizer on a dinosaur and
shoot it.  Then you can kick the dinosaur around and do whatever you want.  That's something that will make
some players laugh.  Another thing is that old thing about Resident Evil.  The mixing of weapons.
The game has a lot of many stuff and puzzles. Everything is a clue.  You can also a fingerprint
machine with which you can figure out many things.
The game takes place in a number of different outside and inside places.  The game is mostly on an island,
but you will enter rooms.  In some parts you can see raptors eat some of your friends.  Something realistic about
the game is how the raptors can sometimes make a circle and surround the character, where there isn't much escape.
The enemies in the game are extremely detailed, fully rendered dinosaurs with the ability to stalk, attack,
and toy with their human prey. The game's excellent light sourcing and graphic improvements add to its realistic look
and feel.
This a a Capcom gem and may become one of the best games of the year. Keep on a look out, because the game will
amaze you and Resident Evil fans might choose this over Resident Evil.
