MILLY QUEZADA: VIVE Milly Quezada is not the typical young Merengue singer. She is a bit older, but she has the voice. Her voice makes her seem as if she is in her 20’s. It's an amazing voice and she has a beautiful body. When you hear her voice she reminds you of Merengue female singers like Olga Tanon, Gisselle, or Jailene. She adds an amazing voice to the Salsa/Tropical category.
The album starts out with a powerful and hip song “Para olvidarte.” “Solo dame amor,” is a very hip and amazing track. One of the best songs on the album is a ver amazing song “Para darte mi vida.” Then there is her interpretation of Yuri’s “Y tu como estas.” The song is one of the best songs on the album and very sad and amazing. She does an amazing interpretation and it almost seems as if she is Yuri. Nobody could have done an interpretation of Yuri’s song as good as her. “Querido emigrante” is a very sad, touching, and emotional track. Other amazing songs include “Vive,” “Tu me llenas de amor,” and many more. The album is very good. Is it worth your money? Definitely, if you are a fan of Salsa or Merengue. If you like Olga Tanon, Gisselle, or Jailene you should definitely listen to Milly Quezada. Everybody else, give her a try. Review by Roberto Carlos Martinez
